So I recently started PC gaming and obviously to get the best initial feel of mods I started with one of my favorite games NV. It's just I installed a few mods (like five) that I now don't feel like continue playing with. I only got to Primm. The said mods were the Classic Weapons Packs, all the gauss weapons by DaiShi, NCR rearmament, and the M1903A3 by Trentosaurus (doesn't work properly). My question is will my saves be fine after deleting all these?

That's to be expected of Bethesda games in general. I will see about modding it. Already planning on getting the stutter remover mod for NV. -

Is it possible to play Fallout 4 smoothly on Ultra with my rig? -

I actually tried said DOOM demo. There was just screen tearing and some framerate dips. I didn't tweak with the settings at all either. -

Specs: Processor- Intel Skylake Core i7-6700HQ CPU, quad-core 2.6 GHz, 3.5Ghz turbo Chipset- Intel HM170 Video- Integrated Intel HD 530 HD + Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M 4GB Also honestly the most modern games I'd even bother playing on it are Doom 2016 and Fallout 4. Rather than that I just want to play classic games. -
For my birthday this year my family decided to get me an Alienware 17 R3 laptop. I know the system is about two years old so I'm just asking how this holds up for gaming in general.

So before my computer automatically set my quality settings for NV to Ultra. The game ran pretty smoothly despite a few minor framerate hiccups so I set it to High with better results. So after my computer did an update for Windows 10 creators I decided to launch NV again to continue playing, but my computer now set my quality to Medium and when I set it to High or Ultra it runs considerably poorly. I tried turning off Game Mode and the Game Bar to no avail. My specs: Processor- 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ (Quad-Core, 6MB Cache, up to 3.8GHz w/ Turbo Boost) Video Card- 16GB DDR4 at 2400MHz (2x8GB) Memory- 16GB DDR4 at 2400MHz (2x8GB) Hard Drive-128GB M.2 SATA 6Gb/s SSD + 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s
