Hi,
I am having issues with CTDs. Almost every CTD happens very shortly after loading a save; I start running somewhere, and the game crashes. However, if it doesn't crash in the first minute or so, then it doesn't seem to be very likely to crash for a long time. I can fly around the countryside using the console commands player.setav speedmult 1500, tcl, and tgm, and nothing happens. If I make a new save after that and load it, or load the first save, the game starts crashing again. Only loading a save seems to generate this problem. Other load screens, like when entering cities, do not cause any problems. Is there any specific kind of problem that is known to cause this behaviour?
The save I'm starting with should be clean. I've only cleaned the master files, and finished the Unbound quest, as per this great beginner's guide, by tony971.
See computer setup and other info requested in the "How to ask for help" sticky below.
Computer (desktop):
CPU: Intel Core i5-3550, 3.30 GHz
Graphics card: Sapphire Radeon TRI-X R9 290 4GB
8 GB of system RAM
23.3 GB of free space on the SSD that Skyrim, Steam, and all mods are installed on
Skyrim install path: C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim
Everything else of consequence is in C:\Games as well.
Game version: 1.9.32.0
DLCs: Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire
I'm using Mod Organizer (MO) 1.2.14
Also using SKSE 1.7.1, LOOT 0.6.0, TES5Edit 3.0.32, Wrye Bash 305, all launched through MO.
LOOT Log (Please note that I always move Amazing Follower Tweaks to the end of the list, as required by the mod author):
Additional information:
I am using Sheson's memory patch, and an ENB (and ENBoost). Log files from Memory Blocks Log never show full blocks after a crash. uGridsToLoad is at 7, but crashes occur at 5 as well. The clean save is at 5. I've tried MSI Afterburner to monitor system usage during crashes. Typically, Neither VRAM, nor RAM, nor CPU are at 100 % during a crash. I only hit 100 % for anything when flying around the countryside, and like said, I don't get CTDs then.
If you can offer any advice at all, I'd be very grateful! There are plenty of troubleshooting guides out there, but I feel I don't know where to start.
