  1. Hi all, recently discovered the Credo WIP. Love it. However there are many outstanding issues I am working on, I have made progress with some bugged sets and lack of ground meshes. However one thing i am struggling with is fixing the gap between arms and gauntlets and legs and boots with some of the sets. Since many armours are ported from the witcher 2, I was inspired by hothtroopers work with some of the ported meshes and tried to get a section of the default hand mesh to attach to the glove mesh in order to fix the gap. I prepared the nifs in nifskope and I have split the part of the wrists i want in blender 2.49b and exported it. However when I try to copy the nitristrip of my exported mesh I get an error about array size being too big. Have I missed a step in the export? Am I going about my problem the right way? Any advice is appreciated. I can send pictures of my error and my export and import settings if that will help.

  3. Once again I'm sorry for the slow reply! College has started again and between that learning to drive and numerous university and doctor visits my time has been short! Anyway I have attempted to weight the mesh several times and the export seems to break the mesh somehow or at least don't help it to be seen in game even though the shader flags I set seem ok. I can upload a backup that isn't edited in blender if you're still willing to take a look? Also I realized the node doesn't have a BSDismemberSkinInstance attached trying to copy paste other nodes BSDismemberSkinInstance makes things weird and distorted. However when I attempt to create one with the skin partition in blender it won't export and throws an error despite me following the recommended settings according to the tutorial. I'l post a screenshot of that if its helpfull. Thanks once again in advance (so sorry for being 2 weeks too slow)

  5. Sorry I haven't replied for a while I know it seems rude but I have been really busy with real life. It's working in Geck however the addon in game doesn't appear. The armor shows but the shoulder pad I made using the car01hoodhulk mesh doesn't. I take it I need UV maps but I would think that as a default mesh already in game it would ? How I would I go about rigging or weighting the mesh? I haven't used blender before any good tutorials? Is what I'm trying to do too complicated for a beginner? Thanks for the assistance. Don't I need a python plugin or something to work with nifs?
  6. hey guys my nif file for an armor mod I'm making nukes the geck when loaded in. I'm using the car01hulkhood mesh and applying a texture with an alpha channel to make the mesh appear to look like the desired shape which works in nifskope and using a nialphaproperty node . I have no clue why on earth its crashing the geck could someone perhaps suggest anything or if i upload it could someone take a look?
  7. Hi guys. Basically I got my patches set up for my mod build and it all seems to work like a charm EXCEPT for the 10mm sub-machine gun. Essentially the base weapon i now two handed and its sights work. Its reload is the normal 1 handed reload and is ok. However when adding mod kits the weapon goes backs to 1 handed and the iron sights are out of whack as the cross hair is centred on the bolt at the back of the weapon. I went into FO3 edit and changed the animation types to be the same as the regular 10mm submachine gun in wmk using the two handed rifle animations and now they all are two handed and work well. My issue now comes when I try to reload with any of the modded variants they use a strange animation that I think looks like the laser rifle reload although I'm not certain. In FO3 edit its set as reloadG the same as the 1 handed 10mm SMG reload that still works on the two handed 10mm SMG that doesn't have any mod kits. This is confusing as the regular SMG reloads fine but the others don't the animation is wrong and the weapon floats awkwardly and the clip doesnt move. Could it be a mesh issue perhaps? That would be unsurprising as the wmk 10mm SMG meshes don't use the right nodes for the two handed animation right?   10. .In game the chinese assault rifle with no weapon mods attached seems to work as intended an ak47 with 7.62 ammo type but all kitted up variants (scope silencer etc) dont work. I think I have figured it out. The patch references the esp weapon mod kits which because the patch is an esp shouldn't work as they shouldn't be able to reference each other but the weapon Id is the same and even though the patch is loaded last the wmk entrys are not overridden due to my meddling (this is apparent due to the fact the other rifle works fine). So the logical step is to turn my wmk esp into an esm with wyre flash and change every esp that needs the esp as a master to the esm version. Is hall try this and report back incase someone else has this niche issue for some obscure reason.
  11. Hi I'm using the millenia weapon replacer fwe wmk rh sights patch found here http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20982/? and it works great. However since I am using FWE I also have calibr. being that the chinese assault rifle is replaced by the ak-47 I wanted it to shoot 7.62 rounds found in the calibr mod instead of 5.56 so I went into the geck and opened up the esp with all the masters files required, setting the patch as my active esp. I then preceded to change all variants of the weapon to the desired ammo type . I saved the esp file and made sure it loaded last in my load order and booted up the game. Oddly enough the other rifle works as intended however the AK has reverted back to the chinese assault rifle. I was smart enough to back up the original esp and when loaded the replacer works again. I have tried many different things in the geck to attempt to get this to work and each time the ak replacer stops working despite the esp being last in my load order. I change no other entry nothing at all except for the ammo type I dont edit any nif files. I am by no means an expert with the geck so I dont know if I did anything wrong if anyone has any idea why this must be the case i would love to know. Thanks in advance.
  12. I found the issue. Looking at th crash log it stated that scripts from dlc2 which is the dragonborn dlc failed to load so I disabled and re- enabled all mods that affect or use dragonborn content 1 by 1. The dragonborn requiem patch seems to be the culprit oddly enough I have had it a while so I have no idea why it suddenly decided to stop working. Anyway my game is all better now thanks for your suggestion Qwerty.

  14. Hey I used loot to adjust my load order and moved my merged and bashed patches to the bottom and the game still refuses to work. Thanks for the suggestion though.
  15. Normally when a CTD occurs on the main menu it is a mod loading before its master and crashing. Yesterday I installed 2 new mods to my MASSIVE mod list and tried to launch(prior to this my game ran 100% ok and had no mod issues that would cause crashes with the exception of the random ctd's due to skyrims memory managment issues of course). It crashed my game. No problem I thought it's load order! I went and checked and could find nothing wrong. I uninstalled these mods and again I crash on the main menu. (My load order is fine and I used tes5edit to check for any glaring issues and it can load all plugins fine) These 2 mods in question Not so fast main quest and thieves guild requirements didn't seem to install anything game breaking. Although Thieves guild requirements replaced some scripts uninstalling it with NMM should have moved the original scripts back (unless I'm wrong). I checked the papyrus log and I can't make sense of it. The root of the problem seems to be scripts judging by what the log says (attached to this post) however this is merely conjecture and an uneducated guess. I have used steam to verify integrity of game cache and it just rewrites my ini's and no other files. Tes5Edit did tell me that the skyrim registry couldn't be found after I rebooted and that using the launcher would restore it to its default state and after doing so the game still crashes (however Tes5edit can load again) My load order is as follows (warning it is HUGE) Honestly I am at my wits end I have no clue what on earth caused this considering uninstalling the mods didn't fix it and I can't see thieves guild requirements demolishing my game so bad (although again I could be wrong) ANY help would be greatly appreciated as well as any suggestions perhaps someone can even make sense of the papyrus crash log.   17. Hi. Basically in my play through I'm being an alchemist so I made some custom robes in the CK and they work fine when I used a cheat copy, however when adding it to the game specifically the alchemist in Whiterun Arcadia's chest through the esp of the only other mod that affects her vendor chest she doesn't sell the item however when I open the chest in game the items are there. However she doesn't sell them. I'm confused as to why this is and if anyone could shed some light on this it would be extremely helpful! It's probably something absurdly simple however I'm very inexperienced with the CK so again any help is golden to me, thanks in advance.
