  1. I just wish they would fix the eyelashes glitch. It's seriously annoying: http://skyrimnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=22763
  2. According to the lore in Skyrim, the Summerset Isles changed their name to Alinor. Now the only reason why Bethesda would suddenly change the name of a province is because I think they plan to use it as the name of their next game. That's probably why they introduced the Thalmor, who are obviously villains, yet are not defeated in Skyrim. I think the next game will be called Alinor, and involve the Great War against the Thalmor.
  3. About the first 200 hours of when I played Oblivion I didn't even realize fast travel existed. Actually it kind of made the game more interesting that I had to walk everywhere.
  4. It's kind of funny to me that a Bosmer would win the wood-chopping record, since it's against the Green Pact in their religion to cut trees.
  5. The best moment when my character was naked was this: http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a229/drakkenfan/elenwen.jpg Naked at the fancy Thalmor dinner party. Seriously, look at Elenwen's reaction. :)
  6. I have a few favorite characters... Malborn, Ancano, and Ondolemar. I tried to marry them all. :) The console commands only worked on Malborn though.
  7. What's the console command for that? I totally want to join the Thalmor with my high elf character.
  8. Here's the console command, that will move her to you without making a duplicate. RefID means you type her reference ID there. type: Prid (refID) moveto player
  9. Surely you don't mean "bares." Puhleez. No, I meant "bears" as in "big hairy gay men".
  10. I think the cannibalism joke is referring to the fact that Bosmer practice canniballism as part of their religious beliefs according to the lore.
  11. LOL.... when I read the title "Skyrim and Bears" I pictured something totally different, if you know what I mean.
  12. I think the Thalmor genuinely don't know that Talos is a god. Since Talos worship is banned, they never had a chance to pray at an altar of Talos see for themselves that it can heal them. Those altars probably never existed in the Summerset Isles, as it was not part of the Altmeri belief system even before the Thalmor started. I wonder, if some Thalmor Justiciers were shown proof of the divinity of Talos, by seeing a shrine heal someone, would they abandon the Thalmor, or remain loyal out of their superiority complex and fear of being tortured for treason? It'd make for an interesting fanifc... I may consider writing something like that- An uprising of truth and rebellion among the Thalmor after seeing a Talos shrine heal.
  13. I'd like to see more of the Thalmor plotline. Perhaps the DLC could take place in Cyrodiil along the border of Valenwood and Elsweyr during the final Thalmor invasion. Unless they're planning that for Elder Scrolls 6... which I feel is a possibility.
  14. What's Skyrim.esm? Also what's the TESSnip and Fact group? I'd really like a list of all the factions.
  15. Have you guys noticed on some of the male Altmer characters their eyelashes are disconnected from their eyelid and go diagonally over their eyes? It's kind of weird. Here's 2 examples of what I'm talking about: http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a229/drakkenfan/eyes1.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a229/drakkenfan/eyes2.jpg
  16. I did that quest and the hooded Thalmor robes worked, up until I entered the Solar building. I even got an interesting dialog option with the guard outside that building. He asked me "Why aren't you at your position Justiciar? Then I told him that Elenwyn needed to talk to him inside the Embassy. If my speech skill was low, he'd realize it was a trick and attack me. When my speech skill was high he said, "Why didn't you say so? Take over my post. Make sure nobody enters the solar."
  17. Perhaps the first meeting could involve him saving the player from a creature attack right outside the city of Solitude (or even within the city). He then approaches the player after the battle and invites the player to the Thalmor headquarters in the city to recover from injuries. While there, he casts a healing spell on the player. He says, "That beast almost killed me. I almost died out there." He confesses that he's grown tired of working for the Thalmor all his life. He's been thinking about quitting, and finding a nice refined spouse to settle down with and raise children. He misses the fine foods and comforts of having a home. A glass of Alinor's finest wine and some of his homeland's food would raise his spirits, but sadly the supply shipment was lost at sea, and the Thalmor are too busy to investigate. The player then can volunteer to investigate the shipwreck, and bring the wine and spices to him. The rest of the quest would be as I mentioned earlier. He would be great as a follower. He is a mage for the Thalmor and wears hooded Thalmor robes. He can cast a variety of spells including conjuration, destruction, and healing spells. If the player doesn't want him as a follower, he is also content to stay at the house. He knows a lot about cooking fine cuisine, and the dishes he can cook for the player after marriage will heal as well as the best healing potions. As for his appearance, he should look handsome. He's a young Altmer, with amber eyes.. His body and face is thin and he doesn't have a beard. His face would look somewhat similar to the Thalmor that takes invitations outside the embassy. He would be available for either female or male characters to marry.
  18. I'm sheep-born. And so is my daughter.
  19. Yes. You'd have to say the right things during the conversation. The Thalmor official has refined tastes and wants a woman with similar tastes. The player's replies should reflect that. For instance when he asks what you like to drink, and if the player says, "Nothing in life is better than Skyrim's mead, straight from the bottle." that would not go over as well as saying, "I simply love the taste and subtle aroma of Altmeri wines." You would also have to be convince him that you are from a good bloodline (meaning an Altmer), or that you are at least an important person. For instance, if you know you are the dragonborn that will appear as an option to say to him. If you haven't found out you're dragonborn yet, then perhaps being the archmage or some other accomplishment would impress him.
  20. Whoever did the voice for that video sounds like he could easily be a real voice actor for television.
  21. I noticed that while playing as an Altmer, during the gourmet chef quest for the Dark Brotherhood, the lady who is a cook mentions that she's surprised to see a High Elf is the gourmet, because the recipes from the gourmet's book generally appeal to common folk. Did she have a different response for other races?
  22. I didn't kill Paarthurnax. He's one of the best characters in the game. It was such a neat surprise to find out he was a dragon. Though, in my next playthrough of the game, I suppose I'll kill him just to see what happens.
  23. It would be great if the DLC is huge like a whole separate province. Morrowind would be nice. The best DLC they ever made was the Shivering Isles for Oblivion. Hopefully they'll make something on a similarly massive scale for Skyrim.
