  2. Anyone still having this problem? My CK and Skyrim both worked perfectly yesterday. Today both crash immediately when I try to start up: "Creation kit has stopped working." The only difference between today and yesterday is that both my video card and my backup power supply blew out together. Got new power supply and new, better video card, but now same result, crash on startup. Verifying files no help. Now trying a reinstall of each.
  3. How do people get their mod pages on Nexus to have images, links, html code, etc? I'm shocked that there doesn't seem to be any sort of WYSIWYG in the Edit Attributes section of the mod page, like there is here for posts. I looked everywhere, in my profile settings, all over the mod editing pages, nothing. So how does everybody do it? Thanks.
  4. Hello, I am an avid player and modder of Skyrim, and also a voice actress, having done several voices both for my mods and Interesting NPCs. I just wanted to give a shout to anyone looking for a female VA for their mods.   5. Hi, saw this post and wondered if we could collaborate. I am both a modder AND a voice actress, having done several voices both for my mods and Interesting NPCs.   6. I still cannot run my FOMM without Fallout game. I tried creating dummy files as suggested (Fallout.exe as a txt file) then tried calling it Fallout 3.exe, as the FOMM is for Fallout 3. It still rill not run, nor give the name of any files that it's searching for. Is there really no easier, more reasonable way to unpack Skyrim bsa files??? Please help, thanks.
  7. I got FOMM, but when I started it up, it kept trying to find Fallout, which I don't have, and don't want to get, but FOMM doesn't seem to run without it :( Help please?
  8. What I don't understand is why do you need a mod manager from a different game, if you're trying to texture for Skyrim? Why won't the Skyrim NMM work? I tried, but there didn't seem to be a way to unpack the files. Doesn't make any sense... ??? I also tried downloading FOMM, but it seemed to have only downloaded SKyrim NMM again. I probably didn't do it right, I'm sure.
  9. Have you looked at the way the existing two doors are set up? I would start there. The front door, and the back door downstairs. Also there is a Bethesda video on this, here: Look about 5 min into the video.
  10. I have a semi-advanced Modding question: I need to know how to link a new custom cell location to the World Objects menu. I have looked at Inns and Keeps and saw that they use Refs to do this, but when I try it in my mod, it doesn't work. What I REALLY want is to have my Bard play in my new custom Player House. I have combed through video tutorials and have found little help on specifically what I need, so would be very grateful for some help. I know that to have a Bard play, the Location needs to have "LocTypeInn" as a Keyword, and that Location Refs and Cells must be added to that Location. Here is where I need help. If I select the reference in my Location file, and select either a Cell or a Reference in render window (such as "LocationCenterMarker"), it does NOT get added to my Location, which I am told in this video that it happens automatically. I tried closing CK and reopening, and it was still not added. I hope that makes sense. If anyone knows what do do, or needs more clarification, please please let me know. I would really like to make this work. I'm attaching a screen shot of the dialog box, hope it helps. My mod is Silver Falls Lodge, here on Nexus: http://www.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24676

  12. I'm having that problem now too of freezing when I try Showracemenu. It worked 2x when I wasn't really ready (in the dark and I wanted to be near a light so I could see my face), and now it won't work at all. I tried to get that Alternative mod, but it won' work! It downloaded fine but won't install because it can't find a mod which I had deleted, which has NOTHING to do with the Alternative mod. I have no idea why it's not working. On another note, I found that it does NOT mess up your stats if you dont use it to change your race. Use "player.setrace Xrace" and THEN Showracemenu. It will default to the race you just set, and you keep all your skill stats.
  13. I'm all-new to modding. I created a new character using a tutorial, and then I loaded a location "MixWaterMillWorkersHouse" and put my character in it. Somehow I managed to accidentally screw up the room itself, where part of the floor is under the ground plane and too far forward. How can I restore the location to its default condition? Thanks for any help!
  14. Mine is already set to LOW, and was working fine yesterday, but today it crashes before it even starts! I try to load a game, and it starts to load, then POOF, gone, and now I'm on the desktop, no error message. If I try a NEW game, it gets stuck on the loading screen. The only thing I'd done was delete mods, but not from the Skyrim folder -- I didn't delete ANYthing from there, only from the separate folder where I'd downloaded them.
