  1. Hey, had the same problem, thought I'd pop by and tell you how I fixed it: don't use the Steam installer at all. Instead swing by Bethesda, install their launcher, and get the Creation Kit from them. Works fine. I think something must have shifted when Skyrim started supporting mods natively.
  2. I just need a standard Dragonbone Mace from the Dragonborn DLC, just smaller - like maybe half size. The idea is that it's made with human bones. This will be used in future Wroag videos. Full credit will be given if you can pull this off for me, believe me! :)
  3. There was a mod to show staffs when not in use before in Oldrim... Not finding a similar one in SSE. Anyone?
  4. I just need a copy of the armor that doesn't poison everyone around me when I get into combat. Ideally it's just clothing rather than armor but honestly that part doesn't matter. This is for machinima purposes so stats don't matter - just trying to get rid of the big black cloud effect.
  5. Hey all, I have a comedy web series based in SSE - you can find it here: http://www.youtube.com/c/ohigetjokes Just getting started but we're at 300 subscribers and climbing. I'm working hard at producing weekly content. In future episodes, though, I'm going to need some custom mods. Follower mods, a custom tavern (based more on modern restaurants, maybe called "Sheogorath's" or something), and a few other odds and ends. I'm a fair video writer/actor/director, but crap at mods. I'm looking for someone to work with long-term. Will promote the hell out of you in exchange.
  6. SOLUTION FOUND - For some reason "Opulent Thieves Guild" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/931/? was doing it. Uninstalled that and all is well again.
  7. Hmm, well it was a good idea but it said all files were okay. Doing the update now, who knows...
  8. I've installed a texture mod and the Static Mesh Improvement mod, both of which might have influenced this problem... but even uninstalling / reinstalling them doesn't seem to help. Treasure chests (specifically the standard rectangular models) have no texture. Is there a way for me to hack a fix for this?
  9. I would love you forever if you could find a way to help me find that last pesky species. I got all but one... I just wanna leave this stupid system but I've invested so much time now...
  10. Dude that's awesome, I will use it as-is right now! Can't wait until it's up on the Nexus.
  11. Honestly that sounds really nice. Gonna do that. :)
  12. What did you expect really? That they will make you their king? You just killed their leader brah. I expected that they'd be dead... since I killed them...
  13. I'm at a point where I've beat the game with most (possibly all) of the endings, explored 95% of the locations, and gone through all the companion quests. Yeah, I have no life. So now I'm looking for random fun things to do. Example: INSTITUTE GENOCIDE This ends up being way more fun than I expected! When you first meet Father agree to help him so that the doors to the Institute are unlocked. Then kill him. Fight off the coursers, synths, and scientists that come for you. Head into each of the departments, wipe everyone out. Go back down that short elevator over by where Father's corpse is. MASSIVE FIGHT, one of the most fun fights in the game as long as you have plenty of grenades!Sadly, after you leave, this affects nothing except that the Institute is "your enemy" now and you do those quests... because in Fallout 4 nothing you say or do matters... but it's a fun ride, better than most final battles in the game. Anybody else find something fun to do?
  14. That's sort of the plan now. Each type of lettering is going in a separate .esp file. So I've got the snappable-to-special-signs in one, the wall-snappable (just basic sign style) in another, and now I've got a third I'll leave as a surprise. Most of it is done, or can be finished fairly quickly. The problem still is organization. I really don't want to deal with menu compatibility patches everywhere. Just thinking of only the wall-mounted lettering, a single group of them, all letters, numbers, and a couple punctuation, would you be fine with them all being grouped in with existing signs? So you'd have to slog through 36+ whatever else you already have. I'm still looking at other options, but if that's something that doesn't actually bother other people much, I might just do that for now. Hey if you can make this happen, I'm happy to go with whatever works for you!
  15. Dude that's awesome! I'm looking forward to what you come up with!
  16. I would love to have a full alphabet of stickers so I can write whatever I want on a wall / door / whatever. ANY font, although the military paint-spray font style is immersive. Ideally also with ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ but hey you can't have everything...
  17. Discovery of note: it is definitely related to something in the savegame file... loaded one of my older games, still have a Pip-Boy.
  18. Having the same difficulty today. Not sure what else to try other than the above. Note: if I'm in Power Armor everything's fine.
  19. I've had that in the past and then it just went away. *shrug* IDK
  20. Crashes on explosions... makes me wonder if it's a video RAM issue. Well yeah, hopefully the patch will fix you, but meanwhile I strongly recommend running through the cure-all because there is one scenario I can think of that could cause your issue: if at one point you installed a mod that changed either sound or graphics related to explosions (or screen shake), and when you got rid of the mod it never really left, thus causing the glitch. If this were the case you'd get crashes no matter what mods you had active, so disabling them all and making sure there's no garbage in your /Data folder would be a good first step.
  21. That's awesome to hear! Yeah I can't believe how stable Fallout 4 is running for me now... especially considering Fallout NV. Yeah funny you should mention Fallout NV ... I am new to the whole Fallout game series and so Fallout4 is my first and I love it so I bought Fallout NV when Steam had it for sale with all the DLC included. So I downloaded Fallout NV and installed the top (most endorsed mods) before I started ... well let's say ... I am still struggling a bit with it (haven't made it out of the first town due to all the crashes). You would think the main stream mods after all these years would be stable. Anyway ... anjoying the Fallout world ... Fallout NV is crashtastic, no matter what you do, and even just the vanilla version without mods. Some of the bug fixes released by the modding community went a very long way towards stabilizing it. Recommendations: install all the top pics under "Bug Fixes", and get the 1GB version for it. Helps a lot. But even then, you'll never be completely rid of crashes with it.

  23. Just posted a cure-all that might help: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3606550-crash-to-desktop-ctd-cure-all/
