Light setup - Game won't start
Judassem replied to Judassem's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Well, I think it was really caused by DarN, because I deleted my Oblivion.ini file, let the game create a new one, then I installed all the fonts again and now everything seems fine. Will do more tests and update this post if I encounter any new problems. Thank you for your help :) -
Hi! I've returned to Oblivion after 8 years, and I decided to use only a light setup, just some basic enhancement mods. I have installed all of them with Wrye Bash, except Vilja and OCO 2 (I used NMM for them). I also cleaned all the mods BOSS told me to clean. Here is my mod list, ordered via BOSS: I also have: Oblivion Stutter Remover Blockhead MenuQue Optimized Distant Land Max (50%) LowPoly Grass Coolsims Hair Pack Oblivion Stereo Sound Overhaul DarkUI'd Darn I also used "Irresponsible Creatures" and "DarNified Books" tweaks in Bashed Patch. The problem is, the game won't even start. It just gives me "Oblivion.exe has stopped working" error. What am I doing wrong? Can somebody help me out?

Necessities of Morrowind script error
Judassem replied to MazDraguul's topic in Morrowind's Troubleshooting
Dude, that fixed it! :D It seems Wrye Mash didn't really install the latest patch. I uninstalled NoM, then installed it together with its patches manually, and voila! Problem solved. Thanks a lot :)- 16 replies

Necessities of Morrowind script error
Judassem replied to MazDraguul's topic in Morrowind's Troubleshooting
Yeah, I did that :( It's from here: http://abitoftaste.altervista.org/morrowind/index.php?option=downloads&task=info&id=40&Itemid=50 I didn't know that, no problem then. I see, but if you look at my load-order, you can see that Django's Dialogue loads before Less Generic Bloodmoon, Less Generic Nerevarine and Less Generic Tribunal. Though I vaguely remember that they were unofficial LGNPC mods, that could be why.- 16 replies

Necessities of Morrowind script error
Judassem replied to MazDraguul's topic in Morrowind's Troubleshooting
Thanks for the heads-up, it seems I still had version 0.59 of mlox. I updated it to 0.60 now, but it didn't offer any changes. I'll still post my current load-order to be sure: Now when I check the load order carefully, I can see two mistakes, plus a possible one. Can you add them to the mlox rule-set? 1) Morrowind Crafting Patch.esp should load JUST AFTER Morrowind Crafting 2-1.esp. As it is now, the patch loads before the main mod itself. 2) NoM_CoM Compatibility Patch.esp should load AFTER Necessities of Morrowind (main mod) and Children of Morrowind. As it is now, it loads after CoM but before NoM. 3) (I'm not sure about this) Djangos Dialogue.ESP is all about dialogues. So, if the user has some LGNPC mods, I think it should load before them so as not to override anything in LGNPC. I remember Django saying that his mod should be compatible with LGNPC mods though; so this may not be necessary.- 16 replies

Necessities of Morrowind script error
Judassem replied to MazDraguul's topic in Morrowind's Troubleshooting
Unfortunately, the error is present even with a new game. I really appreciate your help though. I would never be able to find out the problematic mod by myself. I may remove Morrowind Crafting completely from my load order anyway; it looks really, really complicated and version 3.0 doesn't look like it's going to be released anytime soon.- 16 replies

Necessities of Morrowind script error
Judassem replied to MazDraguul's topic in Morrowind's Troubleshooting
Strange, it didn't solve it. I think there is a problem with the patch. Anyways, I don't have the OP's problem; my game doesn't crash or freeze because of this problem, I just click on "Yes to all" and the game loads successfully. I can live with that.- 16 replies

Necessities of Morrowind script error
Judassem replied to MazDraguul's topic in Morrowind's Troubleshooting
Thanks a ton, I found out that the problem was with "NoM_MC Compatibility Patch." However, that mod comes with NoM itself, in the first upgrade pack (3.01). And as you can see, I'm loading it where the mod author says I should; after both NoM and MC. Why would it create that problem? Any ideas?- 16 replies

Well, here is my load order. I installed MGSO, installed the necessary patches for it, then added some other mods.- 16 replies
