Hello! Not long ago I decided to buy a gaming PC to experience Skyrim in high performance, but that was not to be. It boots up the game by the speed of sound, but right at the main menu (when the smoke appears) the fps drops down to 2-5. I've tried other games, newer, but it's the same problem. The start menu is at 50 and then in-game the performance dies. At this point I'm suspecting a bad combination for my PC or that it's some sort of setting somewhere. Another thing I did notice when I looked around the details is that I have 0GB dedicated VRAM. But I want some advise from others who know better about these things so, any help is appreciated. :) My specs: CPU: Intel Core i3-8350k CPU Cooler:DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 200T GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 Dual 6GB RAM: 8GB OC: Windows 10 SSD: Kingston 120GB A400 HDD: WB Blue1000GB Case: Antec P8 Performance

I know too this topic is old but thanks so much man. Added a spell like this one for my personal Dwemer race and it works like a charm.

I actually saw someone else also suggest that you need that line in the .ini file and it works like a charm now. Kind of weirds me out though, that CK SE flipped the route for source files. Thanks a lot for the reply though!

So I planned on making a script for a magic effect in the Creation Kit but I keep getting the pop-up window saying "The extends script does not exist, please pick one that does" I'm the type of person who wants to solve my own issues but after researching, looking for solutions in forums, updated and scanned the CK, refreshed the script/source files that comes with SKSE and eventually reinstalling everything... I probably need some proffessional help by now. x3 All the topics I could find only mentioned that one update from 2015 that the source files got mislocated and you only had to place them back to fix this problem, but I've checked my folders. Both the .pex and .psc I need (activemagiceffect) are where they're supposed to be. Anything else I can try or... am I being completely (blonde) oblivious?
