  1. you have no idea how stupid i feel for not seeing Update.esp and knowing that was wrong
  2. GOT IT... look at that load order again. Update.esp that happened when i was converting an ESM from one of my other mods back into an ESP with wrye bash and misclicked. and i forgot to freaking delete it. LOOT activated it and because it looks legit i didnt see it at first.
  3. none of them work. i just noticed i cant bash with them either so that would be multiple animations now working i cant get my head around this. they were working just fine this morning then noon-ish rolls around and nope! no more crossbows for you Amber! this is killing me because i just updated one of my mods and im stressing about my users having the issue now like some kind of Skyrim STD. (funny because its not funny) i heard FNIS may help but it seems unrealistic to get that just to correct the DLC crossbow.
  4. ok i did the verify and it said 1 file failed and would be reacquired. nothing changed. also i dont have any unpacked weapon nifs relating to crossbows or bows. they crossbow is still in the BSA file i went and looked to be sure. im not using any animation replaces either.
  5. all that mod does is add a crossbow and bolts to the rock nothing else just a drag and drop to the rock. and i have never once validated anything nor do i know how or why i should do it.. il google it to save us all time EDIT: i see im validating now. ty
  6. ok before i get questions about my load order and before i get slapped with "this thread already exists" i looked at them all and im not about to get trolled for "necroing" threads Load order: 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Update.esp 6 6 SimpleCrossbowTest.esp Thats all im running... im looking for a solid fix to this. the problem is simple. i take crossbow out (i have 50 steel bolts) click to fire and nothing. Save file issue? thought of that. i started a new game with only the DLCs ran through Helgan and when i come out of the cave i have a crossbow and bolts waiting on the rock Hadvar and Ralof duck behind. Pick it up, try to shoot it and nothing just a never ending aiming loop. i even tried restarting my PC and launching from SKSE. whats funny is when i was running a HUGE load of mods i never had a single issue at all. WTF is this devilry? sorry im a little pissed.. ok im VERY pissed. any info helps. thanks in advanced ~TheRealMissAmber
  7. ok i have seen this before and just solved it. what you need to do is open it in CKand find the head skin texture set. it will be named something like SkinHeadMaleNord* for example. go ahead and open that up. there will be a box at the top with a face texture and an array of texture layers on the left of it. select the "DETAIL MAP" then go directly under that array and click the ADD IMAGE button and make sure the directory is as follows: actors\character\facegendata\face geom\MODNAME.esp\00000000.dds NOT actors\character\facegendata\FaceTint\MODNAME.esp\00000000.dds do that and it should correct the issue for anyone using that face texture set. it sounds like someone made a head with race menu and exported it then tried to rig the strings by hand. the nif its self handles the face tint. its an easy mistake to make. hope this helps anyone else having this issue EDIT: you may have to export a new geom map if that mod came packed like that. but as long as you rig it correct after in CK you will be fine.
  8. i mean im working on a Conan follower RN and i never gave him a bow and cant find a way to remove it in CK. so YES i do it would be way easier not to give them a bow for sure. but they pull it out of thin air. there MAY be a ref in CK for that bow that the player cant see but i dont want to dig in refs for a follower (my situation) because that change will cascade across the game. and that would not be my desired effect. for some people that would be perfect but not everyone wants to give up their followers bow for whatever reason. make sense?
  9. I know this is a really old post but if anyone come here looking for a fix i have a solution. IF the follower in question is a custom race you can stop them from ever equipping a bow. What you will need to do is: 1. Open the esp in xEdit 2. Find the "Race" tab in the array 3. Select the race in question 4. In the details on the right side scroll down to "VNAM - Equipment Flags (sorted)" 5. Double click "Bows" it will turn to a 1 make it a 0 6. Double click "Crossbows" it will turn to a 1 make it a 0 7. Find the "Non-Player Character (Actor)" tab in the array 8. Find the NPC in question 9. In the details on the right side scroll down to "DNAM - Player Skills" 10. Set "Skill (Marksman)" to 0 11. save and quit That should be it. that NPC and race should never use a bow again. OFC you can play with this, you may just be able to turn it off for that NPC alone but this is the method i use. as a player you can just use NPC edit but as a mod maker this may come in handy so your players wont have to.   11. Okay so check it out. I have had my own player hone called The Event Horizon running on my PC for about 3 weeks and I'm noticing an increase of NPC traffic through my house. The back story of this player home is the owner Amber (myself made into an NPC) is the daughter of a former Blade who was killed by an assassin, so her and her sister tracked down this assassin to the icy banks of Skyrim and killed him and she built the Event Horizon as a tribute to her father. It's cloud ruler temple made into a player home ironic that it's a hub home with doors to dark brother hood arcane university and paradise. People are coming and going through these doors all the time. I find that so cool because there is a full bar that Amber runs and sometimes the NPCs stop for a chat with her. There is a sister mod to the Even Horizon called All Things Alchemical Rebuilt owned by Allison (my sister) who has an ongoing fude with Flanu Hlaalu the previous owner of that location. She has a shop in skingrad but it sucks. Later there will be a quest involving a contract to kill Allison by Flanu but Amber steps in with their contacts to the dark brotherhood and Flanu disappeared instead. Being the daughter of a blade has its perks ;)
  12. Well the 3.0 (blue Edition) is out now. It has a new Aura and a neat little teleport spell that works like the DASH Thume from Skyrim.
  13. Anyways forgive my aimless rambling. No sleep 16, hrs. Blah. Yeah! Amber's Super Saiyan goes Super Saiyan Blue in 2 days. This darn mod is up to 80mb. I can't believe that nonsense. I just need time to finish polishing Vegeta Hair I had to make blue eyebrows on a face texture. tell me that's not funny!
  14. Right! I have a side project right now changing race is cake now as long as you have a place holder for your real race and features. I'm not sure yet how this would work with MBP but it works fine with colour wheels stuff. Now I'm interested in changing species. I'm talking maping out the deadric spider and playing as one with biped weapon slots and such. This will require new KF files and a hybrid skeleton. But I think it could be done with enough attention reworking upper body nif files. For the upper body in this example. The upper body would be human then making lower body armor for the spider legs think horse armor. As long as you stay with the given slots for the human race I think it can be done if it has not already. I told one of my guy friends that I was getting back into modding and he brought over this DISGUSTING mod called monster chicks or something like that on his lappy. It was so disturbing but some of the thing the game was doing kinda opend my eyes and now I feel like Alice in wonderland. I think being half human half spider would be so cool. Just think you see a whole heard of zombies your like okay. Cast a spell at one and become a zombie for a while. Incognito lol
  15. Oh gosh. Okay I tossed out the 2.0 update today. Did the hair issue occur with the update? Try with the update. After I made it I completely removed AWSS1 and reinstalled with the update on my big PC and it was working okay. Btw AWSS1 = Amber W Super Saiyan 1 idk if I will do super Saiyan 2 or 3 may cause too many problems with ss2 electrical effects and ss3 long hair but Super Saiyan Blue = AWSSB1 I'm thinking of making a stat multiplayer transformation and basic Kaio-Ken = just red Aura for 60 seconds should be simple. I will test your solution to the script effect finish

  19. Right now I'm trying to get the Aura loop sound to stop when the script effect wares off. But OBSE does not have a "stopsound" command. I tried using Begin SceiptEffectFinish Disable AWSS1AuraSound Playsound AWSS1PhaseOffSound End But that causes the game to crash every time.
  20. The hair has been moved from bound armor wig to fully conformulated hair for Saiyan Race. The script has been updated to copy hair now
  21. The bug I am taking about is on death. The player will not fall to the ground they just stand there then you get the option to load a save. When you do you can't move unrill you type player.update3d. That's how it is for me. About the Aura. It uses the right ring slot so if you are using that slot it have gauntlets on that hide rings it will not show.
  22. Can you do me a favor drakey? Load the mod. Transform to super then jump off a high building. And watch what happens when you reload a save. I need help with that one
