  1. So I decided to completely redo my mods on Skyrim Special Edition today, as I've not touched Skyrim in over a year and many were outdated. However, when I erased all my mods, restarted Vortex, and then proceeded to download new mods... In the download section of Vortex, it shows the file size of each mod as "-1 B" and shows a download percentage in the negative thousands. The mod will download and install normally, but the values being shown are very odd. Has anyone encountered this before? Any known fix? I tried re-installing Vortex, restarting my computer, clearing out all downloads and trying again... nothing has worked.
  2. I'll check that mod out! Thank you. And I picked my mods based off of the popular list on nexus. 2k was #1
  3. Long time skyrim player here, and just got back into it recently and decided to start modding for the first time! I currently have about 20 mods, but I have a question for you long-time modders out there. A lot of the sites I've been looking at for recommended mods list multiple different texture mods that I would think would conflict with each other. Is it really that common to use multiple texture mods? Does it work? So far the only texture and graphics mods I'm using are 2k Textures, SMIM, Realistic Blood (think that's what it's called), Realistic Water Two, Wet and Cold, and one of the weather mods (can't recall which off the top of my head) Would it be wise to add other texture mods to this list? If so, can any of you recommend some to me? For the record, I am already using LOOT to configure my mod load order.
  4. I'm new to modding. Only started the last week. I've been using the skyrim in-game system to now, but recently found out about Nexus and want to make the switch. Is there any way to safely do this? I only have 8 mods so far, and there are some that I wish to replace with ones I've found on Nexus. Two of the 8 will remain. Would I remove them from the in game version and re-download them on Nexus? I do have a recent save that only has one mod that I will continue to use (the Unofficial Patch). Any help is appreciated.
  5. Ah. Yes. I'm using the SE version. I'll post this in the correct forum. My apologies. (once I find it. This is the only Skyrim forum I see)
