  1. What's up, Now you have all seen LOTR so you should be familiar with Sauron's Mace and it's effects on opponents. Here's the deal. For my next playthrough, I plan on playing a Dark Lord character and specifically a worshipper of Molag Bal. Now my plan was to have a mace, the Mace of Molag Bal to be specific, which would have a similar effect. I know there are mods out there that add Unrelenting force to a weapon and I know the LOTR weapons mod contains Sauron's mace with the same effect. However, I don't want my weapon to be that overpowered. I only want it to have a percentage of the effect during power attacks, and even then it should only do it in like 20% of my attacks. So the effect should be rarer and not knock my opponents from Riften to Solitude with every swing, but only like a few feet away. Does anyone know how I could achieve that myself or whether there is a mod out there that could do that for me? Cheers.
  2. I'm sorry English is not my first language, stupid mistake I could have looked it up before posting this. Sorry mate. I've seen all the mods that are out there, but for me they are either trying to change to much or not enough. A good mod should change just about the right amount of things, but do it well.
  3. Hi there, I've posted a similar idea months ago. Well, if you're like me and you feel like Sky Haven Temple and the Blades in general don't feel right for you in the game, here are some ideas that modders could be interested in. First of all, I think that Sky Haven Temple could be the ideal player home. I mean, there's something so mythical about this place and as the Dragonborn it should be your first choice as a player base. However, le'ts face it, there's absolutely nothing going on there and it lacks even the most basic commodities. My idea would be to modify it in a way that it suits the player as a home, but also the lore. I know there are mods out there that might just be right for some people. I personally would like to change the Temple, but only in very basic ways and I don't want to add anything else like quests that could interfere with the lore or any plans of a future dlc that may involve the Blades. Here are some ideas: - Make the place more of a hub by adding staples that allow you to keep you and your followers horses there before going on a journey - add a market in the entrance hall with merchants (the entrance hall and the staples should be the only places civilians have acess to) - For the interior: add a throne to the stone table for the Dragonborn to sit in; add an entire throne area for the Dragonborn somewhere in the back; add a library(alchemy table/enchanting table for Esbern to study in; add something like a stone table with a map on it to make strategic plans (like Tullius has in Solitude for example); add beds to the common quarters in case you plan on adding even more blades; add a smithing area (perhaps even outside), decorate the main by adding some lighting (not too much) and renew the banners (but none that would express allegiance with any factions; banners with the ancient dragonborn rune that you find inside the temple would be nice), etc. - Perhaps add some guards in blades armor with the usual guard routine that guard the market and the staples Most importantly, the changes should be minor, but improve the temple very much. I hope someone is interested in realizing this because I am definitely not a modder, I just express ideas. Waiting for some feedback, RB.
  4. Hi everybody, as most of you most certainly were, I am fairly disappointed with the enchantments of the Archmage robes. I know there are mods that change them, but they're not quite what I had in mind. I want to play as sort of a master wizard. I play on master difficulty with ASIS and Deadly Dragons and believe me it is a pain in the ass sometimes ;-) I'd like the robes to have the following enchantments: All Schools cost 50% less to cast + 100 Magicka Magicka regenerates 150 % faster. In order to make Alteration and Destruction cost-free I'd like to have Savos Aren's Amulet's enchantments changed to: Alteration and Destruction cost 50% less to cast. I know I could try to do this myself by enchanting them myself but I always end up completely overpowering it with the Alchemy/Enchanting loop. If no one has time to do this, I'd also appreciate a step by step tutorial on how to change these myself using the creation kit. Thank you in advance :)
  5. I'm trying to follow this tutorial, but I'm not quite sure how to proceed. If I wanted to alter the enchantments of the Arch-Mage's Robes, what steps would I have to follow? Is it considered "armor" or is it an "outfit"? And if I make the changes, will it be a new item or will the ingame robe just have my custom enchantments? I'm sorry to bother anyone but I'm quite clueless right now.
  6. Hi there, I have a purely theoretical question: Is there a way to alter the enchantments of unique items like the archmage robes? I know there are mods to change the enchantments, but they're not really what I'm looking for. I was pretty disappointed with the enchantments on it and I'd like to make it worthy of a master mage without being too overpowered. If it's possible to do this I'd politely ask for a tutorial as I don't have any experience with the creation kit at all. Thank you, RB
  7. Hi there, Well my goal is to have the greatest graphical settings on Skyrim without an ENB mod. I'm fairly new to graphics tweaking and I think I'd need a little step by step guide. Here are my current specs: I5-3570K 16 GB RAM 248 GB Corsair SSD ASUS GTX 680 Win7 Home Premium 64-Bit As you can see, my rig is pretty powerful and should be able to handle any ENB mod. However, after trying Superb and Sharpshooter's, I was never fully satisfied and had some SSAO issues as well as fairly noticeable performance hits. I've played with RCRN Classic for a long amount of time and I liked it pretty much. But of course it's not as beautiful to look at as an ENB with Bokeh DOF. So I decided I wanted to make the best out of my graphics without ENB. I already included mods such as Skyrim HD2K, Vurt's Flora Overhaul, WATER, Static Mesh Improvement Mod, Improved NPC Clothing, Xenius Character enhancement, Claralux, Lush Grass/Lush Trees, HD Textures DLC from Bethesda, Real Ice, Enhanced Blood Textures, Better Dynamic Snow and Sounds of Skyrim, etc. I'm very satisfied with those and I'd like to keep them. However, as I said, it's never as beautiful to look at as the graphic demo videos you see on youtube. So how can I tweak my graphic settings, ini-files and Nvidia graphic settings etc. to make it look orgasmic without using an ENB mod. I'd like to have a bit of a tutorial as well as a little list of further mod suggestions.
