I just DL'ed this mod Recastable Summons and installed it. It works perfectly, but for some reason they turn hostile and attack me at just 1 hit. Normal summoned creatures from non-mod spells follow the normal rules for going hostile, and I use the 20 hits instead of 3 mod as well. Also, for some reason some of the summons from this mod will attack/be attacked by npc's as soon as they are summoned, for example the Scamp. It will attack any friendly npc it sees and vice-versa. Normal summons aren't acting that way. I would really like to be able to use this mod in my main mod list, but I'm not sure the author is even still modding... Could someone please look into the matter and figure out what's causing this?

Yeah, I've seen those mods. The only thing is, I don't necessarily want to BE the Lich King. (I don't think there are any mods that could truly provide you with that experience, or at least, it would be a very large mod with a very long developement time) I just want to serve the Lich King. Even more than the roleplay though, I just really have an attachment to that armor set. It's difficult to get pictures of it for reference because it's been so long, and now Google Search is saturated with pics of DK raid gear. If you've played WoW then you know this armor. If you've played a Death Knight you probably have warm, fuzzy feelings inside when you see it. I know I do. :wub: EDIT: I just noticed the picture that names all the armor pieces left out the cloak/cape, for some reason. Probably because there are 3 choices for it, one for each spec: Blood, Frost, and Unholy. I don't really care which one goes with the armor, if someone would just make it... :biggrin: :thumbsup:

I completely endorse this mod request. Though personally I would prefer the Doom 3 versions of the demons, because they look more serious and less 'cartoony'. Oh-my-god, I just got an idea! What if this mod gave the player the Archvile's fire wave spell?

Honestly, I'm surprised this hasn't been done already... This is a request for the distinctive, signature 'Death Knight' armor we all know and love. I'm talking, of course, about the full set of blues you get for finishing all of the Death Knight starting area quests. I want to be able to carry this armor into Oblivion, where it can continue to serve me well and strike fear into my enemies! I only care about the male version of the armor, though if the modder wants to do both sexes that's fine. (I'll only be using the male set, personally.) Making the matching runesword is optional, though it would be nice. Summonable ghoul minion that looks like the WoW ghoul (maybe sounds like it too?) is also an idea, but at the very least I would like to have the armor set. You would probably have to be a WoW player to make this, or else download the WoW Model Viewer, since that would allow you to see the armor in 3D on a human sized/shaped body. If someone makes this mod I would be forever in their debt... :biggrin:

I know this might be a dumb question but are you 100% sure you renamed the replacement files exactly like the originals? That's all I can think of that would cause a problem... -
I don't know about "getting back up and assuming the position" (not intended to be a sex joke, oddly enough) but I like where this idea is going! I think it would simply make more sense for the player to sink to their knees from standing/crouching, rather than getting back up from the floor to be executed. If they were already on the ground, wouldn't it make more sense for the killer to finish the job while the player is still down? That said, I fully support this idea. (although it would most certainly require a lot of work, and probably skycaptain's permission if any of his work is used...)

Ok... Do you have Oblivion Script Extender and Oblivion Mod Manager? (OBSE and OBMM, respectively) If not, download those, read the readmes, and install both. A lot of mods need one or both of those programs to run. Some mods might need Shivering Isles and/or Knights of the Nine as well. The Game Of The Year Edition (GOTY) of Oblivion is only $20, and it comes with SI and KotN too. If none of these suggestions work for you, try taking a screenshot of all the mods you're using and show us. But more than likely, if you've installed everything right, OBSE and OBMM will probably solve this for you.

Thanks, I'll try that out tomorrow. If it is Deadly Reflex I'll be pretty disappointed, because it's one of my favorite mods and I've never had any problems with it before... :( EDIT: Deadly Reflex was indeed the problem, although it occured to me that when I reinstalled all my mods, I did not install DR5's hotfix, which I've always had before. That would explain why I've never had this issue before, and, if I'm correct, will allow me to use DR5 without problems. (Now if only there were some way to rename your own threads so that people won't think I still need help...) -

Anyone? I hate double-posting, I really do, but my character uses spells all the time so this pretty much renders Oblivion unplayable for me, and I do not want to have to start all over again reinstalling, etc unless theres absolutely no other option. Help me out, guys! (and/or ladies? Whoever might know the solution...) -

Oblivion most certainly does NOT "do your things auto", you have to install mods yourself. And most mods I've encountered require OBSE (Oblivion Script Extender) OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) or both, both of them conveniently offered here. Of course, they can't do their job if you don't install them right. Are you familiar with extracting .zip and .rar files? How about manually copypasting files into your Oblivion/Data folder? None of this is automatic, and we can't help you if we don't know what you already know how to do, and if you refuse to accept the help we do offer you. -
I don't know what is causing the problem, but every time I cast a spell Oblivion freezes, music still runs but I can't do anything! I have to resort to ctrl+alt+del to open task manager and close Oblivion manually every time I crash... It doesn't matter what spell, vanilla, midas, etc. It also doesn't matter where I'm at. I at first thought it was caused by Faster Spells, so I disabled it and tried again. Same thing happened with or without it! Considering how often I cast spells, this renders Oblivion all but unplayable until this is fixed. I took screenshots of my load order, which was done by BOSS. There are a few mods moved after using BOSS, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/6684/modloadorder.jpg Please help me out, I want to play some more Oblivion... :wallbash:

Actually it's not too difficult to get around that, as long as you're the administrator. You can download a registry entry that allows you to rightclick->Take Ownership of any file/folder, which if used on the program files directory can bypass the security entirely. (not that it wouldn't be easier the other way, but that's what I did and it works wonders. And not just for Oblivion...)

I've seen that Clannfear mount, that's a lot closer to a raptor than a guar imo... This is something I would enjoy playing for sure, because come on, raptors are awesome! Not to mention if someone did make this mod they could release their raptor model as a resource, and who knows what people might come up with then? :D

I dunno, the Jedi's style seems very familiar... *coughyodacough* (but I want the Sith to win of course) As popular as the Nightshade armor is, I'm surprised more people haven't commented. (Then again, a lot of men play female characters, and they already have both sleeves, so this wouldn't affect them...)

Well maybe if someone does pick this up and is already changing files, they might do that for you too... ;) Could be in the same file I need, if I want to use revealing armor on my companions there are much more fitting armors than this... :P (Not that this armor shows that much skin on females to begin with.) All I really care about is that arm, and the amulet slot being taken by the shoulder/thighplates though. The female version has both 'sleeves', so why not the male version? :starwars: <----Side note: best smiley ever.

One of my favorite armors has to be SkeletonK's Nightshade Armor (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14999) but there is one thing I don't like about it. The male version of the armor has one bare arm instead of both arms covered (as part of the Cuirass) which to me makes it look less imposing... So my request is simply that someone 'fix' this so that both arms are covered with armor instead of one. If anyone does decide to do this for me, there's one other thing that annoys me about this armor. The Nightshade Skirt piece (as a male character the name here bugs me, it's just extra armor plating, not a skirt...) is assigned to the amulet slot instead of one of the less used slots. So if whoever might fulfull this request could change it to another slot (and the name too) I would be in their debt for all of eternity.

So UOP fixes it, eh? I hope that works... Now I just need to figure out a way to download it without getting a timeout error. :glare: EDIT: Why as a matter of fact UOP did solve my problem! I still have no idea what caused it in the first place though... But now I have a new error. For some reason now I have a graphical glitch that really f***s up my vision by blocking it. There's an odd triangular black shape with the point originating from the center of my crosshair that shifts around as I move or look around, blocking my sight! It persists in 3rd person and even in flyingcamera mode. I did not have this before, so it must be from a mod I downloaded in the last half-day, or else some load order conflict... EDIT: Please IGNORE the rest of this post and skip down to the 3rd post for the current issue, the 1st is already solved... (thanks to ptbptb) I recently re-re-reinstalled Oblivion on my new computer, GOTY edition with SI and KOTN, and after testing it to see if I could run it with any sort of graphics now (I can! :biggrin: ) I installed a bunch of mods , dl'ed a bunch of new ones, and started playing. (Honestly though in the last 3 days I've spent much more time downloading and installing mods than playing...) Anyway I noticed when checking my attributes after the first couple batches of mods that my Strength was 145 (I'm at lvl 1, no statboosting items or effects.) I checked the effects page in the spell tab, but the only active effects were my Thief birthsign and Ren Mystic Elf race abilities... (resistances, I forget the exact ones but nothing to do with attributes) I disregarded it until, about an hour ago, I actually got into a fight with something (it was the Greyland quest where you kill the skooma dealer for his ring) and I oneshotted him. I was using one of throttlekitty's rapiers, no enchants. Anyway, I spent the next 30 minutes disabling mods 1 at a time that were installed the 1st time I noticed the boost. After that I disabled ALL my mods and loaded Oblivion. (interesting thing to note, all nonvanilla items vanished, the dlc notes from frostcrag, etc vanished, and my character vanished too. The Mystic Elf effects were gone, but the Mystic Elf greater power Dragon Skin was still there, despite the mod being disabled...) Point being, with ALL mods off including all official dlc, my Strength was STILL 145, and the number was green, telling me it was effect-based despite having no mods, enchanted items, etc! WTF!!! :wallbash: So um, if anyone might possibly know the problem, I would really like to know... Alternately, if someone who knows how to mod could create a -100 Strength effect similar to WPhealthregen, a spell effect not tied to any item? (or tied to a weightless quest item whose name starts with z so it'd be at the bottom of my list) I would really appreciate that too. It really drains all the fun out of fighting if I can oneshot everything until I get to a much higher level... :confused:

Definitely add a back view. Not every modder who would be willing to make this will necessarily be familiar with 40k...

That would be very badass, but it would probably help if you gave shots from different angles. Also, don't forget to make a chainsword to go with it.
