  1. Hey all. Firstly, I apologize if this isn't posted in the right place - a moderator should by all means move it to somewhere more appropriate, if so. Up til now, I've never tried my hand at modding. But one of the mod's I like is in serious need of upgrading, and potentially porting to Special Edition. The author, dragonrend73, apparently hasn't been on nexus since January 2013. It still works, but it needs tweaking. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17577/? Now, I have no idea how to even start fixing it myself (it needs items from the DLC added, the follower needs a to be depowered a bit - and if it's gets ported to SE I'd like to see an option to remove the major quest items from the sales lists during install). I've tried messaging the author without any luck. So... if I were willing to attempt to fix this, or if someone who knows what they're doing would be willing to take a crack at it - how do we go about doing so? I don't want to steal someone else's work... I just think it's a shame that its been abandoned.
  2. After the dungeon is cleared, I'd really like to see a mod where a group of people (in an effort to avoid dragons), begin first to clean up the barrows, and eventually return it to its glory and use it as a defenseable position. On the first visit after it's cleared, you can find 5 or 6 npc's in the main hall, and it's already obvious they've begun clearing debris, perhaps added a few weapon racks nearby so they can defend themselves quickly as they work. The second time, they would be nearly finished with the entrance, and had begun clearing the pathways (maybe up to the door puzzle). By the third visit they had cleared and cleaned up and there would be more of them, now with corridors of beds down in the dungeon itself, cooking spots etc. And by the last visit they may have finished transforming it into a working "fail safe" location when there are dragon attacks, with sentries outside watching for dragons, and one at the dungeon exit on the ledge. Ultimately, it is the idea of seeing an area evolve during the course of the game, and in this case I'm thinking it could be a timed trigger, or based on each visit after it has been tagged clear.
