  1. Just saw something cool. A modders resource of sorts. Instantly thought of NVBIII when I saw it. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/56986/? Could be useful for a future mod if you're done working with the Deep Creek Mountains.
  2. Cool, I'm loving the progress! Whoever volunteers for the Marko voice role has balls of steel.
  3. The idea of you doing some mod reviews sounds awesome. It would be cool to see a modders perspective for sure. I wish you luck with that.
  4. About Skyrim; You don't really need to rush in to it unless you're eager to do so. I understand you want to polish your skills with the scripting language, but considering Fallout 4 hasn't even been officially announced, I would put your Skyrim return off for a bit longer. I personally think it would be cool if you finished off the Someguy Series of mods before moving on. I'll admit that I'm biased of the subject though, as I like FNV more than Skyrim. That's just my opinion though, in the end i'll support whatever you do.
  5. Any chance Parmley will make an appearance? I would love to reprise my role.
  6. What kind of terrain can we expect to see? I'm assuming it's based off of the real Deep Creek Mountains in Utah. Is it strictly mountains or do we have some flatland too? That sounds awesome. I still remember the time I was playing NV and I was followed home by a man with a chainsaw at night. I was playing HC mode, so I used to return to my home base and sleep, eat etc. Was just walking back to my place at night, heard some chainsaw SFX off in the distance, thought nothing of it at the time. Walk into my house, go to interact with the bed, right before I do I hear the chainsaw again. I turn around and see a Fiend proceeding to murder my companion (which he does successfully - RIP Desmond Harper). I kill the fiend, loot him and find a note about how he's going to avenge the death of Motor-Runner; whom I had killed a couple in-game days earlier. Literally the most bizarre and shocking thing I witnessed in a game ever. I'm not sure if that was from another mod or what, but either way I love random encounters now.
  7. Normally the 'bound' errors are fine, but I'm not sure about a missing ESP error. Been a while since I've used Wearable Lanterns, though. Regarding SKSE.ini, yes go ahead and create it. It allows SKSE to remove orphaned scripts. It takes a while to work, but just play the game normally and it may eventually get rid of some issues. Some users report that it helps to leave the game idling for a few hours, normally in the testing cell (coc qasmoke in the console to get there). I think one test you can do to see how the INI change is working is to monitor your save file size after sitting idle for an hour or so. If it decreases, then it may be an indication of scripts being removed. Awesome, I really appreciate the help. My guess regarding the Wearable Lanterns is that the mod is performing a startup script looking for compatible esps and obviously not finding them, therefore reporting a missing file. Just a guess, probably wrong. Thanks again.
  8. I think Wearable Lanterns is installed correctly. He says on the front page "You may receive continuous papyrus log errors referencing Chesko_WearableLantern_Candle.esp. I will need to fix this". I'm assuming it's alright to continue with it in my load order despite these errors? I don't have the SKSE.ini file that you're referencing, can I just create one? Thanks for the reply
  9. Hello Nexus. I plan on starting a playthrough some time this weekend. It's going to be heavily modded of course, so just want to run my load order and Papyrus log by you guys to check for anything suspicious. I did a quick run through the tutorial; rode the cart down to Helgen, created char, then promptly quit the game a couple minutes after the mandatory autosave. I figured this would give enough time for any scripts to initialize. After checking the Papyrus log I was kinda startled by what I found. A lot of strange errors, although I figure most of them are harmless. Let me know if you think otherwise. Keep in mind the save file is literally 10 minutes old. Load Order: Papyrus Log: I'd like to consider myself somewhat of a veteran when it comes to installing/troubleshooting mods, but you never know with Skyrim sometimes. I am also aware of the consequences of uninstalling scripted mods mid-game and what they can do to save files over time, so I just want to be extra careful this time.
  10. Yeah, didn't want to pry, but I need my fix too.
