  1. Hey guys, I have recently started using the Creation Kit again. Right now I'm making a new play-through of Skyrim and want to go through the main questline slow and steady by having level requirements for each main quest. On the UESP wiki, it gives a recommended level requirement before starting the quest so I'm using that as a guideline as I normally complete the main quest at level 10 most of the time. The UESP says level 6 or above is recommended for the quest Bleak Falls Barrow. So I started to edit the quest Bleak Falls Barrow (BFB) first (MQ103). I added two quest stages: 6 and 7. Quest stage 5 is the "Start Up Stage" for BFB so that is why I created the stages right after. http://i.imgur.com/6bHNinD.png http://i.imgur.com/fed9KxJ.png http://i.imgur.com/LxSyuxy.png As you can see, pretty much everything is set up. Stage 6, it brings up the objective to get to level 6 Stage 7, Once I get to level 6 or I am already past level 6, it will complete the objective and jump to the next stage and carry out as normal. Yet none of this happens: I go to Dragonsreach at level 2, talk to Balgruuf blabla then "Completed: Before The Storm" but it then does not say "Started: Bleak Falls Barrow" or to "Reach Level 6". Balgruuf will get off his throne, walk to Farengar's room and just stand there. I'd force my level to 6 but still nothing changes. What's wrong guys?
  2. Using the creation kit, you can change nearly everything about an npc. Making them female/male, changing their looks and voice type too. However it is possible to use a mod called "Alternate Actors" to become the npc, edit their face using the showracemenu command and then saving their face and reverting back to your original character.
  3. In response to post #27539109. #27539259, #27539509, #27539644, #27545754, #27548114, #27548434, #27549359, #27550899, #27551044, #27551895 are all replies on the same post. I've always wanted to play with a female in an online game that requires teamwork since it's scientifically proven females think differently than the average macho male player does. Say the average male player would storm in from the front gates with everything but a female gamer would go around the back and look for an alternate path. I'm not saying all male gamers are macho men but a good handful are.
  4. Thanks for the reply, i also use a mouse and keyboard as well. So i'm off try this, thanks!
  5. Hello, I've recently ran into some trouble on the PC with Skyrim. On the PS3 and XBOX you can read or eat an item without taking it from another inventory using the left or right triggers, but on PC you can't do this for some reason? If you can, then can you please tell me how to do this? Or a mod which enables this? I have version 1.7 of Skyrim. Thanks in advance.
  6. I'm just conjuring this post again, see what i did there? Nevermind...
  7. Hi, so this question could have a very simple answer or a very confusing answer, don't know yet  So basically my question is if we can change the music of the game using a console command? If you look here UESP: Skyrim Music there are all the music file names which I think you could use to play the music. Anyway if there is no way to do this then I will get the Personalized Music mod. Thank you in advance.
  8. bump EDIT: Sorry, didnt notice Korodic's post, going to try what he suggested.
  9. Not exactly a follower (like someone who you can give orders to etc.), but someone who just follows you. This is because not all the voicetypes have the follower dialogue, like the guards and others, I want to make Hadvar my follower but he has a unique voice so I cannot make him my follower using the console.
  10. Hello, I am currently very stuck on adding player dialogue etc, basically I want to add a dialogue line to every humanoid character (Any character that can engage in conversation with the character) which also add a specific package (preferably the FollowPlayer package). And to do this I must create a quest in the CK and make references etc...But I am currently stuck, I have made a reference alias to the player, (pretty much, it was simple and easy) but I don't know how to make a reference to the character the player is engaged in conversation with. So I just left it to "Find Matching Reference" and pressed OK. This is a short summary of what I changed: Quest Data: ID: aaaFollower Quest Stages: 0 (Start Up Stage) 10 (Added a empty log entry) Quest Objectives: Nothing changed Quest Aliases: Player 1 N Ref -NONE- -NONE- Follower N Conditions -NONE- -NONE- So I am currently stuck on Quest Aliases before I can go any further
  11. Try this: Open up the console (~) and type this (Without the quotes), "coc RiftenHoneyside" and then if it work try exiting Honeyside and then go back in.
  12. Yes! It works! Thank you! I duplicated one copy of all the guards and give them the package and it works! Thank you!
