  1. I will test cause im cool! I wont test it on skyrim, but fo nv since I dont have a massive modlist to screw up. also fo3 maybe also.
  2. starting a new game is one of the best things you can do actually, to avoid save game issues.
  3. Its mainly mods which contain scripts is what causes save game issues after uninstalling. some also cause save game bloat which means your save game becomes really big over time and saving your game takes longer and longer each time... Anyways, before uninstalling a mod that is not a texture or mesh mod, visit the mod description page. The mod auther nearly always tells you how to specifically uninstall the mod to avoid save game issues. Personally, I use nexus mod manager. It ensures that mods are uninstalled correctly so you dont have any loose files hanging around in the data folder that shouldnt be there.
  4. good luck getting the servers fixed, seems like nothing is downloading.
  5. hmmm. i tried 8 different servers and they all say server is busy, try again later?
  6. within the past 1-2 hours of this comment i got a couple of those nexusmods.exe. NOTE this is not nexus_downloader.exe! it downloaded alongside a mod i was downloading. never ever out of 200+ mods from the nexus ive downloaded i got more than one zipped file for a single download. hope this helps, and thank Dark0ne and the team for looking into this.
  7. i actually used the discussion tab for the first time the other day to ask the mod author about something technical that's not directly related to his mod. and yes it is underused and great to see the nexus site getting improved.
  8. In response to post #7619470. #7619578, #7619790, #7620517 are all replies on the same post. I downloaded the skse again. Drag and dropped into directory and seems to work fine.
  9. In response to post #7616952. #7617026 is also a reply to the same post. Thanks, i will try that
  10. Found a bug :( If i add a mod manualy to nmm or use the download to nmm button the mod shows up like normal. But, the latest mod version shows up blank and that also means i cant click on the link in nmm to go straight to the mod pages. It only happens to new mods being added, and already existing mods before the update are unaffected. Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me? Thanks nmm team for the updates and improvements, couldnt mod without nmm!
  11. google search "add block". it block ads from most sites (including nexus) in the chrome browser. So, we don't see ads and the nexus team still gets their money, it's a win win! :D
  12. I started modding early in 2012 and since then my experience with games, mods and computers have improved substantially. Modding would most likely not be possible for me without the Nexus and also NMM. That tool is just a life savior, and apparently its still a Beta... And as Dark0ne said, the nexus is a modding site and should stay and be focused on mods only. We don't want to get sidetracked. better to be the best at one thing than to be alright at everything, that's how ive progressed in life. People on the Nexus have been such a generous and helpful bunch. Ive made sure i endorsed all the mods i like, as to show my appreciation of the great effort put into some of these mods, keeping in mind that the mod authors are doing this all for free! I would also like to thank the people who make the Nexus & NMM happen, Bethesda for making highly moddable games, and of coarse Gopher which gave me a kick start to modding on youtube. And a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone out there :D
  13. yay they fixed the constant log out issue and added more features! thanks nexus team. modding is so much easier with NMM.
  14. ok thanks, looking forward to the next update. hopefully that has the fix.
  15. Hey guys, When I start up Nexus mod manager, it asks me for my username and password. It says: "your account has time out" or something along those lines. I type in my password and everything works fine. Before, nexus mod manager never asked me about my password on start up, so does anyone know how to disable this message? its just a little annoyance that all. Thanks!
