  1. Hello Everyone, I'm not really sure if this is the place to make posts about video games and not mods, but I didn't really know where else to look for this kind of talent. I've been developing a Doctor Who game inspired by my mates who developed the Fallout Who Vegas mod and so far, I'm a one man team. I've been doing most of the programming and animating for the world elements and level design, but I've discovered that character modeling is not my strong point. If you are interested, feel free to send me a message. It's a pretty casual project and this is by no means is this going to be a selling product. Meaning, your not going to make ANY money for doing this. This is just for the mere hobby and passion of designing a Doctor Who game. Sincerely, Doc
  2. Sure, I'll send you my .blend file. I did end up re-doing it in the recommend older version of blender because when I loaded the legacy file into NifSkope I was missing a face but, the redone version isn't missing anything now, so that's no longer a problem. I don't mean to pester you with this either. I've just never used NifSkope and most of it is practically Greek to me, so if I get to be too much of a nuisance, let me know so I won't seem troublesome.
  3. I decided to read up on this at the geck tutorial page and apparently it says I need to do something with NiTriShape. I don't have a NiTriShape option available to me. Actually, many of the tutorials I looked at say to copy the BsShader over to my meshes NiTriShape Branch and I can't find that. I've checked and it's definitely not there. Did I export it wrong?
  4. The one I'm trying to put in game as of now is suppose to be a static it's going to have an animation that's suppose to activate when the player enables it too. EDIT: I do know I have to use NIFSkope to animate it, so no need to worry about that.
  5. I actually have two problems. 1. I made my mesh for Fallout New Vegas but, exported as a Fallout 3 NIF file and I'm not sure if that's a problem or not. 2. I'm sure this is a really simple problem but, I've never really messed around with NIFSkope and I'm not sure what it is intended for, application wise. My mesh currently is all white when I loaded it up, I tried adjusting the material for it to be green, and loaded in my mesh piece by piece, color by color. After that, I tried putting it in the Creation Kit and now it won't appear when I try and load it.
  6. I get an error that says this: "You will need to download Python 2.6 (32 bit) and PyFFI in order to run the Blender NIF scripts. Pressing OK will take you to the Python and PyFFI download pages. Please download and run the Python 2.6 (32 bit) windows installer, then download and run the PyFFI windows installer. When you are done, rerun the Blender NIF Scripts installer." I have installed all of the required components it's told me to install and this message prompt will still appear telling me the same thing. Is there by any means another way of installing NIF Scripts?
  7. oh, sorry. It's 2:00 AM at where I live. so I'm a bit drained at the moment. I'm gonna say thanks one more time too because you just saved me from doing another 5 hours of work.
  8. Well, guess I'll just have to redo the mesh. Sucks too, I just got it done for the most part. Oh well, Learning curbs. Thanks!
  9. No it didn't work. I'm getting a different error. I'll put it up above, so it can be seen. I'm guessing that's telling me to use an older version of blender?
  10. Ah, I see. It even says to CTRL-A in the message prompt. Thanks for pointing that out to me guys. I didn't think I had missed that part.
  11. So I'm having an issue with a model I want to import into my GECK. Specifically this one: And whenever I try and export it as a NIF, it gives me this message: If anyone could help me understand this error a little bit more, so I can fix it, I would appreciate it. Here's the error I got after fixing my model with CTRL-A:
