  1. Hi guy Do you know if playing Skyrim and native 4k resolution will affect modding stability? both in LE and SE. I have always find that a 2k texture pack have a serious impact on mod stability, especially when pair with mod that add new open world space i.e. Beyond Skyrim Bruma, the game basically crash every 10 -15 minutes for no reason. Normal Skyrim world is more stable but still nothing compare to vanila skin (no matter how ugly they are) Do you know if this same issue can be expected if I game at vanila 4k or even 1440p resolution? Been looking to upgrade monitor for work and media consumption, but I am afraid that gaming Skyrim at higher resolution will affect moddability of the game. So anyone ever try modding the game at higher resolution? I don't care much about the frame rate but having game crash more often is definitely one of my major concern if that's the case.
  2. hey, thanks for the advise Damn, didn't know that it going to be that hard. What I have in mind is make the mod reliance on AS so that I don't have to recreate everything from scratch, and may be do like you've said just disable the main quest, re-made something with slight modification and put it to use. I didn't know that it will require so much coding effort Thanks any way, I'll see what I can do to make the project more manageable
  3. Hi I was thinking about creating a mod that do basically what the title said - make your character no longer the sole survivor. The aim of the mod is to create more immersive experience for the users of Alternative Start, I want to do this by incorporating aspect of no voice MC mod and creating new mechanic to start main quest instead of suddenly transformed into Nate/Nora. Basically, I want to give you a no vice (not even when lock pick or pick up item) MC with all conversation related to main quest removed and main quest mechanic locked up (Fort Hagen, some conversation option with Piper and Nick). From this point you may play as completely new character until you feel ready to finish the game. You will start main quest by going to Vault 111 and activate Nora frozen pod. This will activate Nora companion NPC who will have normal conversation game conversation. From this point on you all main quest mechanic will be unlocked when you have Nora as companion. The NPC Nora will basically do all the the talk option when it come to main quest stuff. Problem is I have zero modding experience but I think the concept so far should be simple enough (since we already have Nora mod companion but if she's incompatible somehow, making new follower just for this should not be too hard). So I want to ask a more experienced modder out there - is this concept feasible? is there any thing I should know before start making this mod? Honestly, it will probably be best if someone just took the idea and make it happened but I guess that will be asking too much. For now, I just want some advice before I fire up CK and start working.   4. hi, I know this question have been posted a few times, I did check some of the old answers but still unable to find solution to my problem so please hear me out I have been trying to port Skyrim Summer Edition to my playthrough on SSE. So I loaded them into CK using MO as per this instruction https://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Porting_Skyrim_mods_to_Skyrim_Special_Edition I found that the port wasn't satisfactory and so decided to remove the plug in from my MO list but it stuck and I figure that probably me saving changed directly into CK I can't just go into detail and ignore all of the changes that mod made to CK because they are hundreds of them. Is there any way to reverse all this change back to vanila or possible remove this plug in altogether?

I already use that plug-in, that's why I said it works fine for a couple of days until I now it's kind of like the mod has been activated in the game itself and so the game remain broken despite the mod in MO has been deactivated normally uninstall the mod altogether fix this but this is no longer the case I use MO 2.07 ver if that's help
  7. hi, for some reason my MO just no longer run my SkyrimSE as in I click run, choosing SkyrimSE executable and nothing happen I removed all mods, even re-install MO, nothing seem to work do you have some advice? I feel like I have been through this issues before but not remember how people managed to solve it
  8. I have been trying to create mod list that would be as light and stable as possible for my new skyrim plathrough. So far I have been rather successful, however there's one thing that keep bugging my mind that is my skyrim save size keep getting bigger and bigger currently it is at about 33.1 mb I already tried several method to make my save as clean as possible including - put skse.ini on Data/SKSE/ and add line [General]EnableDiagnostics=1ClearInvalidRegistrations=1[Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048[Memory]defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768scrapHeapSizeMB=256 (diagnostics doesn't seem to function though, so it might not work somehow) - put ssme.ini on SteamApp/common/Skyrim b (again diagnostics doesn't seem to function, do I need to activate it somehow?) - use use Skyrim save cleaner (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31724/?) to clear all the moved objects in game - delete most of the unused save files - use save cleaner V 2.05 beta (RosAsm) to delete orphan script and also randomly delete any script that look somewhat too long All in all, my save size make almost no change at all (from 33.2 to 33.1), and currently my game take like 2 minutes to load and 1 minute to save and it was such a pain (pretty sure I did not overmodded, still under 100 esp and starting new game with this set up is completely fast and smooth so I figure that this has something to do with save size issues) any idea on what more I can do? or is there something wrong in the method I've tried?

Hi, I would like to request a very simple mod that would simply adjusted the weapon type of two-hands spear in the immersive weapon and heavy armoury here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27644/? and here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21120/? As you may already know, two-hand spear model from these two mods are classify as Greatsword, this aside from wielding them make you look like some sort of baseball batter pitcher, also make them greatly incompatible with a great deal of spear animation mod out there (including the one recommended by the author). My proposal is simple: change their type from Greatsword to Battleaxe, this should make them compatible with animation mod like http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37912/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53455/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35929/? , very easily and solve the awkward spear wielding issue of both mod (yes we also have the Spear by Soolie which should work far better but the mod is still unstable - at least to me and possibly many other) I am actually started using the Creation Kit to try to make this adjustment, but really have no idea how to make a patch out of it in the end - will be great if somebody can tell me how to make this change, or even better, making one yourself, I am more than willing to test it out for you.
  10. I think I am getting stuck in Fallout 3 Nexus, I am using the files category section to browse for Guild/faction mod which normally work fine. But since yesterday onward, the picture displaying each particular mod in this section is gone and when I chose to select another page the server keep sending me the information from page one. Say if I click the page seventh link, the server will show that I am in page seventh but the information will still be from the first page. Can somebody help I am getting desperate on trying to fix this (both through the re-log in, restart the computer etc.). Please it really trouble me here.
  11. Hi guy. I just paid for the one month subscription for premium account and would like to try out the download manager with FWE Lone Wanderer Mod. However the server send me a Bad Request massage or being unresponsive (not crashing, just nothing happening when I selected the option "download with manager" in the files section of the site and manual download has been slow like crazy). So any suggestion?, I absolutely do nothing aside paying for premium subscription, so if I have to download any tool, send any request or do whatever to activate my premium status, please keep me informed. Otherwise just tell me what to do to have this feature online. Thanks
