I'm tired of only using blade, block, heavy armor and armorer whenever I play, so I ask you, what character types have you found fun to play? What skills did you use, why, and any tips you'd suggest for that role. Thanks in advance...and if theres a certain mod or two you used to make the experience entirely different (i'm talking about deadly reflex or midas magic, not dual wield or a cool suit of armor) Please mention it.

er, nevermind, turns out whatever files I needed to remove were removed along with whatever caused the game to stop fnctioning in the first place. Thanks for the tip though, came in handy when removing all old files.

thing is, I didn't DO an uninstall, I just stopped playing for awhile, came back, and it doesn't work. In any case, do you know which files these are? maybe deleting them will let me make this work.

Its been awhile since I played oblivion, so I tried to come back to it, only to find that I can't. When I run the startup menu, the game has every option except for exit and website greyed out and unusable. I checked, and as far as I can tell, no files are missing, so, what can I do to fix this? is there an installshield file I can remove to reinstall oblivion? am I simply screwed?

works with vista, double click it, hit activate, or install, or something hat'll appear on the lower toolbar, the mod will have a green square beside it in the middle box if uninstalled, once installed, that box changes to blue.

thanks, now i just need a circlet or something to go with the armor and ill be set. (what? i friggin HATE the mythic dawn helmet)

I know I've seen it somewhere, but i can't remember where. anyone know where i can find the mod that fixes the lack of hands on mythic dawn armor in first person glitch?

i like that i'm only $20-40 away from an x-box. and lich king's name was originally Ner'Zhul (he used to be an orc shaman) but after wc3, he could be caled Arthas, because arthas donned his armor, becoming the new lich king.

i hate how you couldn't try a more evil or good approach to the questline. I can think of a possiblity for each: Evil: you become the traitor, kill the entire black hand, and take control of the order yourself! (probably some flaw with the lore, but i butcher lore whenever i can) Good: you side with that retiring imperial officer (audens somethingorother) and take down the dark brotherhood. rewards could be found on the bodies of the members of the order. oh, and the fact that the kajiit is a *** to you for most of the questline, then he becomes my personal suckup? I DON'T THINK SO *12-gauge*

i usually get rid of wabbajack, it has the blandest appearance (who wants to display a piece of gray charcoal?) and it never really works when i use it. Just don't get rid of azuras star, its probably the most useful of them all (although maybe one could use the item dupe glitch on it...oh yes...)

yeah, i forgot about bad language filters, its strange that we would need to filter our language for oblivion though, when they swear in the game.
