It bothers me that the HUD changes when I don't have a helmet on and it's beyond me how this hasn't been made yet? I can accept the stat loss of not having 5 painted pieces but I cannot accept the immersion loss of having rain bead down the visor that isn't on my face! The optimal mod would have a standard HUD with stat bonuses for painting your helmet (metal/combat/flight/synth, etc) to match your power armor... and if it added face paint if I didn't want to wear a helmet...THAT would be sick Instant 100,000 downloads if somebody did the optimal retextures, but I get that would be a lot of work...
