Recently, I have been getting an unusual amount of latency within my save games (Tested with convenient horses tool, it was on average between 200-250 ms). I have not added any new mods however, and my game was running fine at around 58-60FPS beforehand on previous saves. I decided to fire up save game script cleaner and clean out all instances of orphaned scripts (which totaled to be around ~9k IIRC?) after uninstalling Archery Gameplay Overhaul. For caution, I made a backup file before cleaning. I tried booting up the pre-cleaned file, and I am still having the same amount of lag on that old save file. I'm not really sure where the problem is, since my CPU isn't overheating either. Usually, intensive games will cause throttling on my CPU, giving me hitches at random intervals of gameplay, however this lag I'm currently getting is consistent upon booting up the game. I experience no lag in the loading screens however, only in the main menu, in-game, and inside in-game menus. May anyone please help narrow down where I'm getting this unexplained lag from? Is it script lag, or something else? I have a hunch it may have to do with the script cleaner, since my problems started occurring after I cleaned my save game.
