  1. I'm already using it, and while it isn't EXACTLY what I'm looking for, it gives me a start. Names are the hardest part of creating a character, so this mod giving names to the NPCs means I can create my own backstory for them without worrying about getting stuck on their name. I tried doing this before, using the SetActorFullName thing, but it didn't last when I reloaded the save. I think I've rambled a bit too much, so I'm done.
  2. As much as I'd like stories for some NPCs, I think names will do. Its better than nothing I suppose (you can tell I'm kind of unhappy with the results. but I'm no good at modding, I don't know anyone good at modding (at least personally), so there's not much I can do). Thanks though.
  3. So, I posted to reddit looking for a mod that breaths some life into those Megaton Settlers and Tenpenny Tower Residents, and they said to come here. Well this was my second choice. Anyway, I'm hoping there's a mod out there that gives some life to these unnamed NPCs in the wasteland. Like it gives them names, a story, a personality. Maybe even makes them into possible companions (that's not really required, I have a mod for making almost anyone a companion). I was wondering if a mod like this exists, because I saw a Megaton Settler one day, and I starting asking: "Why is Mr. Megaton Settler HERE. Story-wise, why is he using that leadpipe, sitting there at the brass lantern, complaining that he can't even afford some damn squirrel stew, why is he wearing the Merc Grunt outfit, and how can I, the greatest person in the wasteland, help him with his goals in this terrible life?"
  4. Ok, I think I got it. And I know how to avoid this problem in the future. Thank you!
  5. OK, So the only thing I can think of is this door, that I modified a bit, keeps taking me to an empty cell. I use the door (it is a teleport door), and I get taken to a pitch black place. I can't move, and I keep slowly falling. If i equip a torch or cast a light spell, I can see the door, and nothing else. No floor, no walls, no ceiling, nothing... Here's the details. I modified the Oak and Crosier's Cellar door to take me to a custom cell designed to be my 'Lair'. I disabled the teleport door in the old cellar, so I won't be going there any time soon. This is my first mod, so if I'm making an Amateur's mistake, I apologize in advance. If you can assist me in anyway, telling me what I'm doing wrong, how to fix this, or just telling me why this happens, I would be grateful.
