  1. Could anyone help me find the armour mod in this image? I assume its the same mod thats in this image If not could you please tell me what both armour mods are. I tried asking the people who made these images but they were both salty.
  2. What skin retexture mod is being used in this image? I cant seem to find it. I know the face is from Brutish Argonian Faces but the the body still eludes me. http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/52241-1-1395255120.jpg
  3. In the dawnguard game there is a bit of lore that the ideal masters would give someone power (of the necromancy kind) like summoning powerful undead etc. Maybe you could add a pure lich form that would be more powerful than the ancient lich because it draws power directly from the soul cairn it's self. Some of the pros for this could be more books about the ideal masters and you have something that does not require the dawnguard dlc but would fit in with it. The dlc does not go into much detail about them so there's some space.
  4. Have you seen the Skeletons-true undead that would be cool to implement.
  5. One thing you could try is the need or power to feed on souls (without them going into a gem) Reasons could be: -Souls regenerate magicka, health and stamina -They can be used for some attack -Satisfy some need -Increase some kind of level etc Lore: Maylen Varen used souls to hold his soul in the star of azura how it was put was he would feed on the souls to keep himself from fading away, maybe you could use souls to keep your soul inside your phylactory. It doesn't break your theme of lichs working for all classes and in future it could be some way of getting to the ancient lich.
  6. Brain fart sorry bout that but still do something with the stone So much lore  Epic fail :wallbash:
  7. Could you add a hearthfire version of the mod that changes the crafting of the amulet. Making you need heart stones or try add the heart stones in some how. So much new lore
  8. I could probably help you with that
  9. make a skeleton or draugr body and then when your choosing AI packages select i think its stationary they wont move if you do but I might be wrong but I think head tracking is still active when they are stationary. On another note like the screen shot I took Thats me :D That is so motherf'ing awesome! Now i really want that he would make liches into skeletons  What mod are you using to turn into that skeleton? Using Undead V.2 on steam its not finished yet so some armors dont work and you legs come out of the shoes so I just didn't were any
  10. make a skeleton or draugr body and then when your choosing AI packages select i think its stationary they wont move if you do but I might be wrong but I think head tracking is still active when they are stationary. On another note like the screen shot I took Thats me :D
  11. I think it should be the weaker undead i.e skeletons and low level draugr
  12. Wait its kromey's birthday oh then happy birthday kromey
  13. When your done could you put a link to your (what i assume is) house mod I would actually like to see it.
  14. Thanks for the impute on the armor idea much obliged. On the note of the lich form I have a friend who is quite good at texturing and I myself have some skill in mesh forming we might be a able make a few models for you but don't expect a stroke of artistic genius I'm only starting out at this game but my friend has been itching to make some textures, maybe not 2k but something you might like.
  15. I would rather make a custom lich texture the skeleton is to bland and another reason is I have been speaking with modders who make skeletal race mods and they say it is very hard to make a skeleton wear armor, mainly mod armor and what if people don't like the mage look. Also if you were reading the chats although I can't be bothered going back through them the op said you will look the same for the initial release so I'm assuming alpha, beta and first release of the main mod. Finally op what are your thoughts on my armor set idea. Edit: Sorry I didn't read the first part about the mage robes right sorry but my point still stands about everything else.
  16. All you need to do is set up a faction change when someone is wearing full armor if you have questions on how to do it, this guy managed to do it and even with other armors LordDarkga
  17. sweetsnowboarding might be on to something I get that making a lich texture isn't in within your fortay but if it is going to be something in the future one thing you could do is when your is wearing full armor they cannot be detected by mortals allowing you to walk through towns and not have to worry about the guards ripping your arms, making your bones into flower and baking them into sweet roles just so when there about to lock you away for eternity they can say "let me guess somebody stole you sweet role" and then laugh in your face
  18. That's a really interesting piece of lore, op are you planning on changing the quest or will it remain the same although there is nothing really to change the quest can still remain the same you just might need to change the book and i should stop typing know
  19. I also wonder whether or not you've read The Path of Transcendence. It's a diary from Oblivion, written by a necromancer who is undergoing the transformation to a lich. I remember you from the dawnspire mod that's actually one of my favorite house mods.
  20. Exactly like a resurrection cloak I hoped you'ed like the idea
  21. Don't remove the resting bonus from liches they can rest just like vampires lore wise the only reason werewolfs don't get it is something like "your trying to keep you guard up else the animal inside is going to take over and kill people". The only thing a lich has inside is a dust, cobwebs and the occasional gust of wind chiming through there ribs. Potema the wolf queen raises zombies around her what i thought you could do is have a proximity raise undead while in the demi-lich state it could be the energy that your phylactory is using to keep you raised is leeking out to undead around you bringing other things back to life but because there not getting the full amount it doesn't keep them alive forever and they don't get your power. Because the phylactory is still at the wim your soul so are the undead.
  22. There is a way you can become a lich and vampire or should say vampire lord. The dawnguard vampire lord is given to you in the exact same fashion as the companions it is not contracted.
  23. That skull does look epic but im trying to think how you could implement it I get that it could be a distant phylactory I had and idea for the distant phylactory, maybe to keep it safe the lich gives it to a powerful undead minion he/she controls like a skeletal dragon and he would wear it although there are ways you could still use the skull like that.
  24. This makes sense to me. How much extra damage do you think would be appropriate? 20%? 50%? 100% (double damage!)? Just a flat damage bonus (like silver weapons)? Also, if we're going with blunt weapons do more damage on the basis of bone breakage, axes should also get a damage boost, as despite having a blade they're really just blunt-force weapons delivered to a smaller area; while this means you can more easily miss bones altogether (e.g. a hit to the gut isn't likely to break any bones, whereas a mace or a warhammer to the gut can still break ribs or even do damage to your spine), it should still get some of the same benefits -- maybe half the extra damage that blunt weapons get? (Swords, while plenty capable of breaking bones, because of the way they are balanced typically do their damage via cuts and such; it's axes being balanced right behind the striking edge -- just like blunt weapons -- that makes them more likely to break bones. (Sometimes I worry about my sanity, knowing things like which weapons break bones more readily... :ohdear: )) I think that warhammers/maces should do 20-40% more damage, don't make it to high because we don't want lich slaying weapons. On the axes front they should do more because there not just designed to break bone they are made to cut limbs off so roughly a 30-50% damage increase On the healing spells for undead there isn't a self healing spell and I know for a fact that there are hardly any self undead healing spells on the nexus because there is not need vampires can use regular self healing spells
  25. My thoughts on the idea of being weak against blunt or sharp weapons I'm going to have to vote blunt weapons. As a walking corpse flesh and organs are the least of your problems but fracturing bone to the point of imobility now that could be a problem. The only reason (that I think) zombies are effected by slashing weapons in d&d (lore wise) was because you kill a zombie by damaging its brain stem
