Its a nice idea and one I've looked for before. As you say the Longclaw mod is the closest - I suppose the hard work was done in creating the mechanic, so it should be possible to replicate for other categories (not that I am advocating someone stealing the author's work - merely learning from it). If I had one criticism, I always felt the switching between 1h and 2h was a bit clunky, as it sheathed and drew in between switching (but suppose you'd have to have a new animation for that?). Would be nice to have something like that for all the vanilla swords

Cheers Ghosu - I hadn't thought about making it as an perk effect. D'oh! In my defence I was thinking of making a special weapon and compromised with an amulet or armour piece. I also tried to combine it with an effect prompted by bashing, but with no condition 'isbashing' I couldn't see how to do it. I had a look at a weapon brought in by Dawnguard which left runes when bashing (a warhammer iirc) but it seems to use scripts rather than a condition and didn't feel competent to try it.

LE Skyre compatability patches for immersive armpits and insanity's l
73North replied to MagnusMac's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Ok I don't care what it does...but I want an immersive armpits mod! Perhaps it has a power similar to the ebony mail if you haven't washed for a while!? -
Perhaps not quite what you were after, but I did make my own mod by borrowing the Spellbreaker ench for other armour pieces. I am by no means a 'modder' and couldn't figure out how to apply it to a weapon though!

I was just thinking the very same thing - what could be more dramatic than a two-handed warrior suddenly putting up his weapon whilst using his/her off-hand to blast opponents with sorcerous power (like a Sith Lord might) or instead maybe casting a ward to deflect an incoming spell (maybe like a jedi or suchlike). Having recently completed a playthrough of Oblivion where you had such a capability (along with casting whilst holding weapon and shield, which I didn't like so much) it seems strange not to have this capability. I haven't been able to track one down yet (and I assume neither has Heralding) - I assume it is possible as I understand Oblivion and Skyrim use the same engine?
