  1. Okay so the mod called the people of skyrim adds trees in the tundra where whiterun is and I'd like to get them removed. I know there is already a patch for this but from what I know that patch removes (most) of the trees in the tundra but not all of them. So again, I wonder if someone could make a patch that removes all of the trees TPOS adds in the tundra and not most of them but all of them.
  2. Hmm, so the plugins that gets loaded last doesn't actually get loaded? Cause it seems like all of my plugins works They don't. The 255 was never a limit of NMM. It was a limit of the game engine itself. As in the program code of the game was never designed to recognize beyond 255 plugins. Oh, good that I was able to find this out before I started my new character. Welp, time to start merging
  3. Yes I have disabled 3 of them, no more. The only reason for that is my game crashes when having them enabled.

  5. Exacly what the title says. I've just started using MO2, my last mod manager was NMM and discovered after a while I could have over 255 plugins in MO2. Is this something specific to MO2? I thought there was a limit with the engine or something which prevented users to have more then 255 plugins (without merging them). Also a picture of it https://gyazo.com/23b51cdd821097761fd0090f7e457e2d
  6. Nvm I found a fix, feel quite stupid now not gonna lie. If anyone had this problem as well just click on priority tab and it should change back to the default direction.
  7. So i was dragging around my mods and doing load orders and yada yada but I happened to press something cause my priorety list changed direction. Now the mods that loads last is at the top of the list and the mods that load first at the bottom? Do anyone know what I happened to press and how to fix it?
  8. If anyone tries to help me, I honestly just gave up on Vortex. I did though start to try out MO2 now when I had NMM unistalled and I've just found my new mod manager.
  9. Yes I first stupidly removed the Vortex files, then I uninstalled Vortex. I tried to uninstall Vortex by just removing the files like I do with NMM but it seems like Vortex doesn't work like that.
  10. I'm not sure what you're asking, you can either uninstall mods or disable plugins, both are handled by the large button in the left column of the mods/plugins view  Do you mean in the plugins tab? Cause I only have disable or enable and my Vortex have kinda glitched out. If I try to find my installed plugins in the mods tab they are none existent. I can neither reinstall Vortex cause it remembers the mods I use and reinstall them after I've reinstalled Vortex. Ok, I think I'm following now. Those plugins are no managed by Vortex, so they're probably either managed by your previous mod manager or leftovers from NMM. The way to remove those would be manually open the game data folder and delete them. That is kinda true but the problem is, they are from Vortex. I uninstalled NMM and installed Vortex, I had a bunch of problems and errors so I wanted to reset Vortex. I thought it was the same as NMM, remove all the files and uninstall the mod manager. Problem is.. I did not know Vortes saved the changes made before the unistall, so the mods I'm trying to uninstall are left from when I uninstalled Vortex and when I stupidly removed important files.

  12. Yeah I'll try these tricks, the weird thing is, they can be visible at first but after installing som other mods later on they might just get hidden away, it's often the same mods to.
  13. The thing is I download the plugins, I then install them, after installing a couple mods some of them gets hidden away from the plugins tab. When I say Vortex hide them I mean it, I can't find the plugin in the plugins tab, it's poof gone. If I reinstall it Vortex will tell me they are already installed and if I want to overwrite them. Did you deploy the mods immediately after installing them? Deployment is different from enabling. Deployment generates the hardlinks in the data folder that commit your mod installations to the game. If you have not deployed the mods that you've just installed, then that is probably the reason for the missing plugins. Ahh that might be the problem, I'll see if that will fix that, btw just a litle extra question, how do you uninstall plugins in Vortex?

  15. So after hundreds of hours of modding in Nexus mod manager I heard of a new manager, Vortex. It seems like Vortex is supposed to replace NMM, so I gave it a try. I'm a complete newbie to this manager so I did not get a good start with it, plenty of errors yadi yada. I finally sorted it out though. But then I met one problem than was a big question mark for me, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but after installing mods, some would just get hidden away. They would still exist in the files but when starting a Skyrim they would be not be active so I would have to reinstall them all the time cause Vortex kept hiding away my mods. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?
