  1. I would love a way to revert dye colours back to their pre Patch 3 versions. Thanks.
  2. That news that it's not coming in patch 2 was really disappointing. I desperately need to change my makeup, the lighting during CC was so different, my character in-game looks nothing like what I had planned.
  3. So I just turn off the Steam shell? That's all? I normally just use the Steam drop down menu (top left) and click "Go Offline".
  4. "Permanently" only in the sense that you don't go back online after that. Once you set Steam to play offline, it won't automatically log you back online unless you click yes to their prompts, afaik.
  5. Well, I'm starting to feel quite anxious about the upcoming update. I've set my SSE not to automatically update, but if I remember my Steam correctly, you have to set it to offline *permanently* otherwise it will detect the update and refuse to run the game until updated. (I still have awful memories of the "install" button where the "play" button should be).
  6. I haven't been able to endose a mod I downloaded over 15 hours ago, the mod page doesn't register that I've downloaded it, nor does the mod show up in my download history. Another mod I downloaded did not have this problem though, so I've no idea what could be causing it. I used manual downloads for both mods. It's this mod fwiw: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57052
  7. Hmmm, I thought it'd be bad, but it looks like Skyrim will be broken for a very long time. And I was never interested in Creation Club content anyway. Or fishing. I guess I'll finish my current Skyrim playthrough and head back to grinding ESO in November.
  8. I recently made some changes in the CK to an ESL-flagged plugin I downloaded, and now LOOT is telling me that there are form ids beyond the accepted range and my saves will be corrupted. So this sounds bad. How do I salvage the situation? Can I just remove the ESL flag through SSEEdit? (All I did was to remove some static items and plants and replaced them with other statics and plants - just for my own personal use). Thanks.
  9. I'm assuming we'll have to wait for SKSE to be updated, then wait for Address Library to be updated, and then wait for all the other mods that don't use Address Library to be updated? Assuming the MAs are still around?
  10. Now that the day is upon us, I'd love to know if there is a centralised place where we can find updates about mod authors who have left. It would be great if there was a list here or on Afkmods or anywhere else, just point us to it. Thanks! And thanks to all the mod authors who have given us your work and inspiration, whether you've chosen to stay or leave. It's unfortunate it has come to this, but I do think it's important to be treated fairly by your hosts, so I support your decision.
  11. I have a mod download folder that dates back to 2013 when I started with Skyrim mods. It has transferred to Windows 10 and a new machine with no problems. I don't need mod lists or mod packs since I like to customise my own Skyrim experience. The only thing I'd pay for a premium membership for is the luxury of having every single mod centralised in one site, but I guess that's impossible now.
  12. Unfortunately, blaming people solves nothing. i'd just like it fixed. Having Nexus and mod authors agree on a solution that works for all would be the best of course.
  13. I'm with you. I have no interest in Collections either and prefer to create my own mod experience. I don't really care that Nexus is getting into Collections/curated modlists, or whatever, but I do care that a lot of my favourite mods are being taken offsite. I've tried to read some posts on the reasoning behind why opt-out was not an option, but it seemed to really come down to, "because we said so". I can think of a number of ways opting out can work, for example, opting out means your mod will never be used in any Collection and therefore will not matter whether or not it gets deleted. And if it's a matter of money, I don't mind paying another nominal fee (like the one to remove ads) to have access to opted out mods or the old system. Honestly I'd like anything, really, except this completely fractured system we see coming up in August.
  14. i guess it's a testament to the stability of SSE that I'm shocked and concerned to have found a glitch after 4-5 years of stable playthroughs. I had a random dragon attack recently, the kind which cleans up their corpses immediately after you leave the area. But this time, the dead dragon is still there after a week or two of in-game time. Does anyone know why this glitch might have happened? I did uninstall a few mods recently (I know: never uninstall mods mid-game), so I'm worried it might have destabilised my save. Any ideas appreciated.
