Which mods are you trying to activate with State of Decay?

After going through NVEC's list of bug fixes and searching the mod repository, I think I've looked at the prominent places such a fix would reside in. After Upgrading ED-E through the Follower's of the Apocalypse, ED-E will still occasionally use her Electrical Zap weapon instead of the new Energy Zap. Why this occurs I do not know and would like someone to fix this as it has cost me some lives. I use ED-E as my primary ranged character and when it uses the Electrical Zap instead of Energy Zap against tougher foes it makes for a harder battle. I would think the weapon would be removed from ED-E's inventory after the upgrade, but it seems both weapons exist. Maybe a shortcut would be to allow the player to switch between Electrical Zap and Energy Zap, through the Companion Wheel?

Hello folks, This is only the second Bethesda game I've played. Last one being Morrowind. I wonder if there's a way to allow items that belong to a character to then be available for the player to grab without any karma penalty. Grave robbing aside, I recall going back to a character's house (I think it was the owner of the motel in Novac), once she was killed her stuff (and the safe) was still labeled red instead of green. She's dead so it shouldn't matter any more. How does ownership work? I see on the Geck wiki page for containers that a item can belong to a faction or an NPC. So does the item's owner never change if the NPC is killed or is the due to it belonging to a faction and not a single NPC? Also, if you get bad karma for killing someone, then shouldn't grabbing their stuff from their bodies yield bad karma as well?
