has anyone figured out how to do this? im trying to put a reflection enchantment (from SkyRe mod) which is originally for apparel onto a sword i have no idea how to change the enchantment type from apparel to weapon

Hey forums, im trying to install Dual Sheath Redux but i can't seem to get the patch program to work. I keep getting an error. I attached a picture of the error that pops up everytime i run the DSR patcher. idk what is causing this and i hoping someone smart would kindly tell me how to fix my problem. (pretty please) EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED. I set the permissions for my entire Skyrim folder so that i have full control. The patcher has full access and now runs as expected

I'm up to the part where i have to defeat ancano but i cant fight him. (scripts are failing? idk) yeah i get it "use the staff on the eye blah blah bla" i know all of that It's just that Ancano would stop talking when he says "AND YOU THINK YOU CAN ANYTHING ABOUT IT?!" and Toldfir would use a spell against him or not (i got him to correctly throw a spell at ancano by waiting for a few hours and then going back in) he's suppose to throw a spell at ancano and say that spells wont work against him, and then ancano talks again for a bit, and then toldfir would then tell me to use the staff on the eye. Ancano says "ENOUGH" and then just stares at me for the rest of eternity. I have no idea how to fix this bug and i really need someone to help me out here. pretty please

Hey forums, I'm having a really annoying problem with my save files. It appears that the latest save file in skyrim becomes unloadable (the game closes and i get sent to my desktop at the near end of the load screen). I would have to resort to loading the previous save file which has no problems loading. This has happened 2 times so far, since this morning when i started playing. How do i fix this issue?

Nevermind. I guess i found the issue. i plugged my charger on a whim and my lag stopped.

Hey forums, i've been playing skyrim on my laptop (specs are show below) for a bit and i've taken a huge fps hit. compared to the specs on my pc, my laptop should have no problem running Skyrim lowest setting. Laptop specs i5-3337u dual core 1.8ghz intel HD4000 graphics 6gb ram windows 8 Pc specs i3 quad core 2.93ghz nvidia gt 220 4gb ram windows 7 ultimate is there anything i can do to increase my fps? i was running it fine on around 25 frames but now ive reduced to what feels like 15

Creating a Merge patch stabilized my Skyrim. But now im back to my freezing problem lol. pretty sure it's because of a visual thing

I've just recently began to get frequent crashes to my desktop. the first two i noticed were in the same location. not sure if that was a coincidence or not. second time i was in dragonsreach questing (luckily, i saved literally a second beforehand). These frequent crashes are really abnormal. still trying to figure out what is causing it. (note; ive just recently started to use CK, just to add buffs to some mod items and weapons).

I have 77 different mods enabled. Is this a problem? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Oh, well that clears things up. Too bad i wont be able to use two of my favorite mods together :[

Hey forums, I'm having a huge problem with EVE. At first it was working fine for me but after i installed a mod, my game kept crashing on startup. I isolated my problem to EVE because my game will work fine if i deactivate it. I'm not sure why EVE is causing my game to crash on startup. It most likely could be incompatibility with another mod. NMM keeps adding extra mod files to the mod list. Example: I downloaded a Desert Eagle mod. exited NMM and then reopened it. there are two identical files now and i cant tell if they are different and which one is the "real" mod anyone know how to fix this?

Hey Forums. I have this weird glitch/bug where there is this background noise that never stops. It sounds like wind going through a cave (or just wind in general) and i can maybe hear what it seems to be a smoldering noise. This bug started happening right after i finished the civil war quest (battle for windhelm). Im guessing the smoldering noise is coming from the blazing rubble from the battle. the noise however, is still playing and it is really interfering with my gameplay and immersion. The noise however goes away when i go underwater and when i use the "showracemenu" command Is there anyway to fix this?

You can try using TES5Edit.
