  1. Never mind. I just had to delete the games ini files and allow the launcher to recreate the ini.
  2. I think these mod files that I tried to install sometime in the past are to blame. Now the only BIK files the game will read have to be labeled "ORMainMenu" or "ORGameStudios". The same goes for the menu music. It has to be labeled "ORMainMenu" as well. Does anyone no how to undo this, and reset the files to read on the original file names?
  3. So, I've been having problems with the main menu in Oblivion. Nothing I do seems to fix the issue. I've tried opening the BIK files in the "Video" file with different software, but to no avail. I have since disabled "open with windows media player" for the files in the screenshot, as it didn't help at all, and the files don't open with anything anymore. Just as it was by default. I still don't have any start up video for the launching of the game, and the main menu is just a blank background with no music. Everything else in the game seems to be working normally, just not any of the files shown here. Anyone who could help me out would be extremely appreciated. Also I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times, and that doesn't seem to work at all. I've even downloaded menu replacement mods, and tried a different intro music mod through vortex, but none of that has worked. I even looked in the "Music" files to see if vortex had in fact replaced the main menu music with the mod, and the file checks out; however, it doesn't work in game...
  4. How do I completely overhaul all the loading screens with my own? Including Main menu of course.
  5. It seems like the specific nifscripts are not available anymore...
  6. Oh sorry, I wasn't thinking anyone was ignoring me at all. I was just kind of typing about the subject as I was messing around with it and I just ended up writing a bunch of different messages, sometimes I end up just writing my inner thoughts. I definitely understand it may take about a day for a response. Thank you for the info! I'll write again if I run into any problems and I'll try to keep it all in fewer messages...
  7. I also can't seem to find "nifskope-1.0.22-windows.exe", It's just 7zip.
  8. I did find a page saying the scripts had been updated for PyFFI 2.1.5 but the new scripts are 2.5.9 and they require PyFFI 2.1.11 which confuses me a little
  9. http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/Blender All I can find is niff scripts 2.5.9 not 2.5.5 Which I could download all of the required stuff for that but that's not what the blender installation page is telling me. But at the same time it's not telling me what version of nifscope I need to download.
  10. Cause if so It's no big deal I can just reinstall the right versions...
  11. Am I right to assume I should've installed the older files this page was suggesting? I kind of just thought that the page might've been outdated at first...
  12. Part of me feels like I need to download older versions of some of these files, because Nif Scripts doesn't seem to detect that I have Blender.
  13. madmongo, you were referring to this specific page yes? https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Installation_of_Blender
  14. I did download the newest version of everything, hoping that wasn't a big mistake, but I did relocate FOMM to C:\Apps
  15. having troubles with this part too.. E - X - T - R - A - SInstall YafaRay - This is an additional render program for use with Blender. Source: YafRay.org Run YafaRay-0.1.1.exe Installer Language - Click OK to accept default of English Welcome - Click Next License Agreement - Select "I accept the terms of the license agreement" and click Next Select Destination Location - Change from "C:\Program Files\YafaRay" to "C:\Apps\YafaRay" and click Next Installation Complete - Click Next Setup Complete - Click FinishAll I can really find is a 7zip file no "YafaRay-0.1.1.exe"
  16. So reinstall FOMM, custom install and then pick the "(e.g. "C:/Apps")" location?
  17. I did however find the right head mesh via Fallout Mod Manager though, In the BSA browser of "Fallout - Meshes" The problem with this is when I try to extract the files it takes me to a folder called GeMM, but it will not let me save them.... It says that I "don't have permission to save in this location." So that's really just where I get stuck... Should I just save them somewhere else?
  18. Also I'm not getting File -> Import -> Netimmerse/Gamebyro (.nif) I watched part of this old video that said if I don't get this option I need to install Python to my Blender's directory.. Would this help?
  19. My \Data\Meshes\characters\head\ folder doesn't have the head meshes it says I should.. Mine are: __folder_managed_by_vortex headghoul headghoulfemale
  20. Can I just edit already existing hairs or something? I downloaded all the things in that link.
  21. Sadly no, I'm willing to learn whatever I can though.
  22. I was wondering if anyone could inform me on how to create my own hair style. I wanted to make my own hair mod through the GECK and have no idea how to do so, and I can't find any information on how to do this for some reason...
  23. Maybe some retextures for people playing a Rick Sanchez playthrough or related quests would be cool. Anything at all.
  24. So I'm not sure if any one will even read this but I'm playing a Rick Sanchez playthrough and it seems to me that there is a huge lack of mods surrounding the very popular show. I've always thought Fallout: New Vegas was better than Fallout 4 since it came out and I am aware of the mods on Fallout 4. I've only seen like 2 mods related to the show and think there should be more, for example maybe someone could do a retexture of the in game lab coat, change the colors around a bit, or a couple related quests, any restextures at all would be cool. I hope to see someone reply. Thanks.
