Now if the title didn't scare you off, for those that don't like the show, my proposal is this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/473728 We never did find out who made this mod or where to get it, though if someone did and can point me to an SE version feel free to link and invalidate this request. Now we all love werewolves, those of us that are reading this anyway. For all the mods I've seen they change the colour, give menu access, make were bears or salamanders or cats or wereanythings. That's all fine and good. "To each their own" - Inigo. But why not add this option as well? Who's to say it's not lore-friendly. Like all the bikini armors make so much more sense... But I digress. The mod request is as follows: - werewolves only change the ears and give claws - when transformed you are still categorised as werewolf and people run from you as usual - inventory access is available - fast travel can be enabled/disabled - per mod author's preference, i'd give the option of both but maybe disable is the first choice, if it can only be one or the other - you're not completely stripped - much like that twilight werewolf who has an aversion to wearing shirts, I propose the same happens here. but you still keep your pants on (and bra depending on your mod list for female characters) - entirely optional, given the situation, you could keep all clothes - maybe gloves/gauntlets are removed on account of claws Now to me, I think the game provides all the assets a modder would need: - slap on some elf ears, on any race that has round ears instead of pointy - grab some fangs either from werewolf or vampire - add some facial hair - male only, maybe? - add claws - recommend borrowing from - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9213?tab=posts&BH=1 - running animation can stay the same as vanilla werewolf or just plain running These are all suggestions, the mod author, if this is picked up, will likely decide on the details. We're all in lockdown here so why not give it a shot? For those suggesting i try to take up modding since I'd have the time - me no smart and also me no patient. But mainly that first one. The main reason I'm requesting this mod is because vanilla werewolf types give me nightmares but I like them in general and Skyrim's my favourite game, of which the Companions questline is very fun..

  3. Fair enough. Let's see what I can think up right now. Like I said, this would be a sequel to the Dark Brotherhood questline, tying in with the last kill you make in the series and by that I mean Motierre. Not sure if killing him would be good as a prerequisite, some may have let him live. Though I see him as a small price to pay for another quest. I find it hard to believe he acted alone or that he did not have some partners of some sort that would be displeased he kicked the bucket. And if these people are willing to hire the Dark Brotherhood, then they would be eager to punish them for messing with their plans. The quest can start soon after killing Motierre, a week or so after, give it time for them to stop hearing from the guy or to hear from that bodyguard of his that he's now Sithis' new pin cushion. A group of mercenaries is sent to track you down and bring the Dragonborn in for questioning. I don't want to say too much here because I may end up spoiling too much but basically, you would need to track these people down to a secret meeting/masquerade ball where everyone is wearing a mask (the tribunal masks mod comes to mind). One way or another you gain access to the party and have to do away with them one at a time, in secret. If possible, you could try impersonating them, turn them against each other or, if you're confident you can take them all on and their guards, you could try a massive murder frenzy. Though that would be less fun so maybe leave that as a plan b.

And if you've played Oblivion and have done the Dark Brotherhood questline, then you surely remember that one mission where you go into a house with 6 or something other characters and you're supposed to kill them all. That's what I propose for Skyrim, a crime thriller mission as a sequel to the Dark Brotherhood. I am more than willing to help write the storyline, prepare characters, write dialogue lines etc. But since I don't know a thing about coding, I can't make the mod but would love to contribute as much as possible to it to make it happen. P.S. if there are other such quests like this, that's cool. I want to make my own.

  8. That's actually a good idea. It might be asking a bit much of our friendly modders though. (i just realised i phrased it wrong by saying that i'd like to make a mod when i wouldn't know the first thing about it) But technically it's doable, have them sit up and gather round. It would make sense too. After all, they're a 'reclusive cannibal cult' so i doubt they initiate too many people into their clan. but sadly it's probably just a dream. i'd even forgotten about the request myself until i had time to play a little and got to Serana

Just like the title says, I'd like to make a little mod request where Serana is always the one that turns the dragonborn into a vampire, whether you follow the dawnguard and you ask her to make you a vampire to be able to go to the Soul Cairn. Or if you side with the vampires and she bites you instead of Harkon. It shouldn't be too hard (so says the clueless noob that has no idea how much work it would take). But basically I think entering a new dialogue option that says: "I accept your gift but I want Serana to be the one to do it" or something like that. And I believe Harkon already has a line that can be used as a reply: "So be it." then Serana walks over to you and delivers her own lines: "Turning someone is something intimate for vampires" or whatever that line says. To which the character can use the default reply: "Then I'm glad you're the one doing it." or however that line goes. or a tweaked reply: "I didn't realise it, I just trust you/I just wanted you to do it." Then she bites you, fade to black and you continue on with Harkon giving you the basics. Or something like that, the mod author probably will have better lines. Though I could try and come up with some better lines, if need be. Anything to make this happen. I know it seems like a peeve... but how many would rather Serana be the one to bite them instead of *bleh* Harkon... Note to any modders willing to take this up: Hi lost kogaani!
  10. yes, it would be cool to have it part of a pack of weapons. but frankly, the chances of this being made are slim as it is, adding more items to it might discourage/repel modders from giving it a shot. of course if anyone should want to try this and wants me to provide ideas for more items... i admittedly do have a few in mind, at the very least for more weapon types as well as a shield. but while it's still in the wishful thinking page, i'll limit myself to just the one item.

NOTE 2: If you want to only see the pics, they're at the end of the post. Maybe that will get your attention. Am I the only one who was disappointed that Alduin, the big bad boss of the main campaign dropped... nothing. Literally NOTHING. N.O.T.H.I.N.G. So yeah... disappointing is an understatement. So, here I am at the mod request page after searching through the nexus and finding nothing similar (if i missed it i do apologize) but I am confident that no one dreamed up what I just cooked up. First of all, this is Not Another Sword Mod (for those who got that reference I say: cool.). The prize of this mod will be a sword, we'll get to that later. Let's do some background on the story behind the sword. I see Akatosh as the protective type. I mean he appeared in the mortal realm to fight Dagon in Oblivion. You'd think he'd do something about his own firstborn, am I right? This is where my Idea comes into place. I'm thinking that he foresaw Alduin's attempt at ruling Nirn as well as the rise of the Dragonborn that would stand against him (he's a friggin god after all). And prepared a gift to the Dragonborn should she/he put a stop to Alduin's tyranny. Enter: Legacy of Akatosh: a sword crafted out of his own fang (i know. inuyasha much?). A weapon to be used by the Dragonborn to protect mortals from tyranny. Now this sword should come right after killing Alduin in Sovngarde. Here are a few suggestions as to how: 1. As a drop - like with Harkon's unique red ashes, could be a pile of... indigo ashes? 2. As a chest that spawns where he drops or placed somewhere nearby that is accessible with a key that magically appears in the inventory after Alduin falls or that is quest based and the unlocks when the right trigger is... triggered. i.e. Alduin is kaput. 3. As a gift from Tsun along with Call Hero. 4. Any other idea that sound better than any of mine. For stats I considered something higher than stahlrim, more damage and heavier too, tempered with dragon bones. But I leave this to the discretion of the modder. As for enchantments I would suggest fire (i considered chaos but let's face it, fire on its own is more dragon like) and banish (cuz it's crafted from an aedra for crying out loud). But again, this is up to the modder. Though an unenchanted version would likely be welcomed so people can put whatever they want on it. As for type of weapon, I would go for the Greatsword, with one handed version optional. And now. For the moment you've all been waiting for... PICS!!! Word of warning, my image of this aedric peace of awesomeness is pretty... jumbled. I'm available, of course, for more clarifications. The sword I envisioned is made up of different pieces of four different swords.   14. so i'm seeing large black, square-like blocks with colour like a bad reception or something... like buildings in the distance that disappear as i get closer and closer. distance meaning... a mile away maybe? i have a spring skyrim overhaul... that's the only mod i can think of that changes the environment and could cause this. should i disable it? reinstal it? thanks in advance for any replies!
