  1. Fixed it! According to https://taleoftwowastelands.com/viewtopic.php?t=7240 it's a problem with Avast. Sure enough, completely uninstalling it seems to have fixed the problem entirely. I'm not entirely sure why it was still interfering with processes despite the shields being turned off & exclusions being set for falloutnv.exe, but it doesn't surprise me given how bloated the software is. I guess I'll be going back to the tried and true combination of Windows Defender & Malwarebytes. I should've searched the TTW forums before posting this thread, but oh well. Thank you for your time dubiousintent.
  2. Thank you for the reply. In my original post I had accidentally linked modlist.txt instead of loadorder.txt, the correct link is https://pastebin.com/49wC7jwn. It's sorted with LOOT, though I've adjusted the order of the DLC according to TTW's FAQ. I've looked at the Common Game Problems link, but there is no mention of audio lag. It's also worth mentioning that I've disabled my antivirus (avast) to ensure that it's not interfering with anything. Where should I go from here?
  3. Whenever I enter combat an audio desync occurs for the duration of the battle. This desync is a 5+ second long delay in audio effects, and during this delay I cannot switch weapons using hotkeys. I'm running Tale of Two Wastelands with Mod Organizer 1 as my mod manager, sorted with LOOT. System specifications: Windows 10 Home Edition i5 6600k OC'd @ 4.5GHz GTX 1060 6gb WD Blue 1TB SSD 24GB DDR4 RAM @ 3000 MHz Load order: https://pastebin.com/TETiyGNm This appears to be the same issue in https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6842367-weird-combat-sound-desync-issue/ and https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6724632-audio-lag-all-sounds-suddenly-catch-up-post-combat-video-example/, but both threads end unexpectedly with no solution found.
  4. I have Legendary Edition, all three DLC installed. Latest patch. I don't have the unofficial Skyrim patch. My mods are: UFO 1.1b15, Heathfire weapon display fix, Weapons and Armor Fixes 4.0, Immersive Armors, Complete Crafting Overhaul 1.3, Frostfall 2.5, Storage Helpers, Apocalypse Magic, Killable and Lootable Children, SkyUI, Enhanced Blood Textures, Dance of Death, and JaySus weapons. BOSS doesn't detect any mod conflicts. My specs are well above the minimum requirements. SKSE's log has nothing special in it. I am running SKSE launcher from a folder as administrator. So I decided to play some Skyrim, so I loaded up my converted Dovahgolt startersave that never gave me problems. I wanted to first check if my mods were up to date, so naturally I had to update NMM. There were no changes in mods, or Skyrims files. I didn't ever do the Dawnstar nightmare quest as I know it's buggy as hell. And now whenever it saved, most of the time (sometimes it saves succesfully) it CTD's. Sometimes it CTD's after it loads an area. So naturally I checked if my mods were conflicting using BOSS, redownloaded and reconverted the Dovahgolt, turned off autosave, and tried again. Same issues. So I went to play on my fairly recent Lvl 27 Dovahgolt save, and there weren't any crashes at all. Nothing on saving, sleeping, waiting, fast traveling, etc. I'm really confused. It can't be corruption as I got a fresh save, it isn't quest related, and it doesn't seem to be mod related. The level 27 save was made before I updated NMM from 4.6 something to 5.1.0. The hell is going on?
  5. i'm also having problems from the new launcher. All was good, and I went to see if any of my mods had updates. What's this? Outdated launcher? So I went to go download it from the nexus website. Ran the installer, and NMM booted up beautifully. I checked my mods for updates (they had none), and booted Skyrim from the launcher. And now it crashes on saving, sometimes while loading, crashes on autosave, crashes on sleeping... So I grabbed a fresh Dovahgolt starter (which the old save was on) and started anew. Same problems, so I decided to load my old 200+ hours of gameplay character (also was a Dovahgolt save) and there were no crashes. About five hours of off and on Googling returned no results, I've pretty much given up. Not even BOSS and modconfigurator could do anything.
  6. What I was thinking is there could be a type of favorites menu, kind of like the one in SkyUI, but with categories. Some categories would have sub categories, to keep everything tidy. Inside those would be buttons, that basically use the console itself. Seems kind of pointless, but no more crashing Skyrim by trying to Alt Tab back to the page with the codes, no more straining your memory for that sweetroll spawncode, and it would cut a LOT of time because it instantly types everything for you. Map makers could use it to populate their creations with items/npc's/buildings with a few clicks(or key presses, if theres keybinds!), it'd be fun to mess around with it and create a personal mudcrab army in a few seconds For example Items (main category) Add to Inventory (sub category) All (has no item filters) Weapons(weapon only items filter Armor(armor only items filter) Spawn infront of camera (sub category) All (has no item filters) Weapons(weapon only items filter Armor(armor only items filter) After that could be models (houses, walls, etc), stat modifications, etc. Really, all somebody needs to do is develop the UI, the buttons would be easy as they're just copying and pasting the command into the console.
