  1. I've noticed that my character has a visible neck seam. The seam also appears without any additional character textures. Here's what I have installed at the moment: 1. UNP Blessed Body 2. XP32 - Maximum Skeleton Extended 3. TBBP Animations of Dragonfly 4. UNP FemFeet Meshes 5. UNP Hand Meshes 6. Pretty Face 7. Brows HiRes 8. Coverwomen 9. Barbarian Skin Texture 10. Sexy Sporty Sweat Can someone tell me what could be causing the neck to have seams and if so how can I fix it? http://i.imgur.com/8sijpwT.jpg
  2. I want to use the Dual Sheath Redux mod but everytime I enter the game it says "Patch Data Not Detected". I've followed the instructions and have the required mods. I ran the Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar but it seems to be only completing half way and the windows disappears but I still get the Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp file that it generates. I don't if the patcher is supposed to close that fast because I've seen videos of other people installing and it takes around 15 to 30 seconds.
  3. Okay then and thank you for providing the helpful technique to isolate the issue. Simple yet effective.
  4. I cleaned all the 'dirty' mods in my BOSS list. I then proceded with the Brute Force elimination technique to isolate the CTD issue down to 2 mods. The CTD will only occur when these 2 mods are used together (not caused by a single mod). The 3 mods are: - The Ashen Race / 1 Plugin - Random Alternate Start (2 Plugins) I then noticed that I was missing the 'The Ashen Race' Dawnguard patch. Added that patch and tested the game with the Random Alternate Start to check whether the CTD issue was fixed. Is there any reason to why these 2 mods conflict with each other? I've read the mod description on the mod page (The Ashen Race) and it seems there are no compatibility issues.
  5. I've completely re-installed the game with the following mods (some have been removed since they were not needed). The new save game has not been cleaned with any tool. CTD still happens at the same location. BOSS Log Recognized Plugins: Unrecognized Plugins:
  6. Maybe the the two shortbows have different equip locations on the body mesh.
  7. In a normal situation when you install a Texture/Mesh mod it will simply overwrite the Vanilla files. The game will then use these new files instead. I don't see how it's possible to have Texture/Mesh mods installed but not have an effect in the game unless the game is using the Vanilla files from another location.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm having a repeatable CTD issue at a Y intersection just south west of Katla's Farm ourside of Solitude. I've been able to repeat this process multiple times with 100% success rate. I've also enabled Papyrus logging to collect useful data, however, I do not have the knowledge to be abel to interpret this data. I've ensured that my load order is correct with BOSS and also have created a Bashed Patch for the Bash Tags Relev and Delev in accordance to the BOSS report. I've removed any orphaned scripts from my saves as well. Here's an image of where exactly I crash: http://i.imgur.com/VMkS7U2.jpg I also have a Papyrus log: Hope someone with the expertise can help. Thanks in advance.
  9. I'm having trouble identifying my CTD reason. The game will CTD near Whiterun (stable and entrance side). I've run BOSS to check and update my load order. I've used TES5Edit to verify my mods' integrity. 10. Hi everyone, I've recently installed a large number of mods after reinstalling Skyrim. It's been over a year since I've played Skyrim and used tools such as BOSS ans Wrye Bash. My problem is that I'm getting random CTDs in the game, however, the game loads smoothly to the intro screen and between world spaces. ------------------- System Specs ------------------- ► Operating System: Windows 7 Professional x64 ► Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro-4M ► Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K (Overclocked @ 4.1GHz) ► Memory: 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz ► Hard Drive: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM ► Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7950 (Overclocked) ------- Tools ------- ► Latest DirectX installed ► Latest Java Runtime Environment installed ► Latest Wrye Bash installed ► Latest NMM installed ► Latest BOSS installed --------- Skyrim --------- ► Skyrim patched to latest version ► Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn DLCs ► No HiRes Texture Pack ► SKSE up to date BOSS Log: In all honesty I'm not sure whether the mods have conflicts or not; or if they require cleaning via TES5Edit. I've always had trouble with installing mods and figuring out compatibility. I've used BOSS to 'fix' my load order (but I can't be sure it's fully correct). If you know of any of the mods above that have conflicts then please let me know. Thanks :D
  11. I don't think it's my ISP since I'm on a Fiber Optic plan and am living in the city. EDIT: I've narrowed down the problem to my Router/Modem. The Router/Modem had a website filtering feature enabled which exponentially reduced the speed of all incoming and outgoing connections due to its extensive scanning protocols. I've disabled it and am now achieving an excellent ~500 KB/s. However, I have not conducted tests in relation to the File Corrupt: CRC Check Failed error message. I'm going to test that with a number of large mod files to check that the file maintains its integrity.
  12. I don't think NMM is downloading the files properly or the servers are just really slow causing packets to be lost during download. Slow download speed + File corruption is just a horrid experience.
  13. I've just recently come back to the Nexus Mods site (reinstalled Skyrim after seeing new great mods). I'm keen to test out a lot of the mods available but there's only one thing that's really stopping me; download speeds. Last time I was active on the Nexus I remember the download speeds within NMM or via the site were approxiamately 250 KB/s (Kilobytes not Kilobits) with a low of about ~75 KB/s and a high of ~400 KB/s; which was great as I'm not geographically close to the file server. Now I when I queue a couple items in NMM and the download speed per item is on average ~65 KB/s (pretty much dial-up speeds). One small mod with a size of approximately 2,500 KB will take a very long time and once I've waited that very long time an error will occur when I attempt to extract and install it (File corrupt; CRC check failed). I've noticed there are only 2 file servers available now compared to the previous 3-5. I'm assuming the Nexus has cut down on its infrastructure. My question is: Is there anyway to increase the download speed to at least ~128 KB/s? (I know that the public file servers are capped at 1 Mb/s (Megabit) which is 128 KB/s)
