  1. Specifically looking for the Altmer sorceror armour from the ESO trailer. I've spent a while looking around for this but I've not found anything - I'm actually quite surprised that this set hasn't been made for Oblivion, or have I missed something and does something like this exist already?   2. "Better" is subjective, but you might have a look at Knights of the Nine - Revelation - gives you a couple of choices for updating the Crusader's Relics, but it's also a very well-written quest mod that takes place after KOTN. Highly recommended.
  3. Anyone who has this issue in the future, the problem is Aesir armour. I'm guessing the attachment scripts fall over when the armour is moved out of the player inventory. Disassembling the armour and then transferring it seems to work fine.
  4. In nearly 2000 hours playing this game I have never seen the likes of this before. Essentially, when passing over my inventory to Malborn it works fine for the first few items, however at this point the framerate drops a little and in the background I can hear the scrolling sound. As if I am constantly scrolling, yet I am not. After doing this, the vast majority of NPC dialog that involves scripts seems to take an age or two, for example the dialogue with Delphine afterwards. She gives the clothing and the invitation one item at a time, and with rather a large delay in between. I took a recording of the above behaviour (though the sound seems a bit knackered): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYUOiIl_boc After this recording I decided to finish the conversation with Delphine and board the carriage, just to see what would happen. I must have been sitting on a black screen for about five minutes before I finally spawned at the Thalmor Embassy. At this point I gave up. The problem is reproducible without fail every single time I try. Oddly, this doesn't seem to be related to overall game time - I loaded up a save from half an hour before this, teleported to the Winking Skeever and tried again, same result. If I just don't bother with the quest the game seems to be behaving, though of course this pretty much locks out the main quest. I'm not sure the issue would be one mod causing it directly - I've had this mod list running across several characters for about a year now, and in fact did this quest on another character a few weeks ago with no issues encountered (and one several months prior with a couple of issues which were solved by uninstalling skyBirds). In fact, the ones with the quest done are much older saves on which I would have expected a couple of issues, whereas this one is fairly new. I would assume it's a save issue of some description. The save itself apparently only has 6 orphaned script instances, but removing them with flexcreator's tool does nothing to alleviate the issue. However, based on my limited knowledge I don't see this being caused by anything other than Papyrus falling over for no real reason other than Skyrim Sorcery.   5. I'm attempting to modify a script from the Undeath mod (which kindly provides the source) in order to fix a bug (technically a dirty workaround) locally. However, I cannot even compile the unmodified script. Here is the output from command prompt when attempting to compile via Notepad++: http://pastebin.com/vrNKijdy Attempting to compile via CK produces no output. Looking at the errors it would appear to me at first glance that types are being used in the script that haven't actually been defined. I'm coming from a C# background so I do have a vague idea of what I'm doing with this, but if I can't even get the unmodified source to compile then there is definitely something I am doing wrong.
  6. Got a very strange issue in Markarth - I've completed Igmund's first quest (and am lvl 20) but he does not give me the option for the second. On further investigation, Favor157 (the second quest) is at stage 0 (as I'd expect), but Favor250 (the Thane quest) is at stage 200 for some reason. Attempting to advance Favor157 manually does nothing, presumably because it is radiant. Is there anything I can do to set this in motion? Save is very young, about 7 hours, no bloat that I can see.   7. Fair play. Still enabling them a few at a time but it would seem the conflict is related in some way to skyBirds. I can understand if it fixes the second crash (though I haven't got that far yet) but it makes no sense as to why having skyBirds disabled would fix the interior crash. Especially as there is no reason for any dirty edits to be present in such a mod.
  8. NMM. Currently trying the old "disable everything" trick, and it works with everything disabled. Evidently there's a conflict somewhere.
  9. I started by trying it with all of those plugins disabled, and the game is still crashing at that trigger point.
  10. What mod are you referring to, ELFX? I can drop you a copy of the v2.0 archive if needed, it was downloaded from here back when v2.0 was its latest version. Here are my results: Crash point 0 (inside of ThalmorEmbassy01) Dropped all items, still crashes. Crash point 1 (exit of Reeking Cave) Dropped all items, still crashes after leaving cave. It takes a second or two longer for the game to crash when doing this, but it crashes all the same. Slightly older save (from before entering Solitude) No items, still crashes inside Embassy. I moved slower though, and I noticed the quest did advance (Malborn saying "Good luck..."). Moving forwards a little further caused a CTD. EDIT: Sure, go for it. Hope it's not a clean install or going back too far in the save...

Not quite, it was a slightly earlier save on the same character, I travelled to the exterior cell that contains the exit from the Reeking Cave, and had no issues, which is why I don't believe the second crash is the result of a dirty cell. I had picked up a small amount of loot but they were all vanilla objects - a few soul gems from ThalmorEmbassy01 and the items in the display case in Elenwen's Office.
  12. For the record, I appear to be using v2.0 of ELFX, not 3.1 as in your screenshot. That might help with diagnostics.
