Although Alex21xx's answer didn't directly apply to me (I don't have "Lucid Virtu") I had a similar enough situation that it led me to the answer. (Thanks Alex!) My laptop has 2 graphics processors and the system decides which one to use based off application profiles. "TESV.exe" was in NVIDIA's list of applications, but "TES_.exe" isn't. Anything that wasn't listed uses the default Intel graphics processor instead of NVIDIA's. For me, right clicking on "TES_.exe" and selecting "run with graphics processor->change default graphics processor..." let me see and edit the profiles. Once I set "TES_.exe" to match "TESV.exe" my framerate went from mid-teens to mid 30s.
