Hi, I managed to go into data files on skyrim launcher and select those downloaded mods that i got from nexus using the NMM, but when i go to play the game the skyrim logo comes up and the drum sort of music, but then cuts off to desktop, is there a fix for this? Sorry for all my posts, its just im new to this and will be ok as soon as i sort this one out. Thanks

Hi All, I have downloaded loads of mods from nexus some of which work great but others like houses do not appear and was told they should appear in the Data Files section, is this correct? Also the house, estate mods since they are not on my map even though i have installed them with success using NMM do you have to find these house mods yourself by venturing around? or should they automatically be on the map?

go to my documents and do following Add this line to SkyrimPrefs.ini under where it says [Launcher]: bEnableFileSelection=1

Hi i was told to put mods into steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/mod.esp I installed steam but i cannot see anything like this in the steam folder let alone anything to do with Skyrim. Can anyone point me in right direction please? .... god im getting old and im only 35 LMAO!!

ok thanks for that :) do i have to click on the data files in the skyrim launcher to enable the mods? if so i cant click on my data files as its not lit up.
