I second everyones post for reassigning equipment slots for apparel so you can equip armour on more outfits, I started a request here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3389820-outfitclothing-reassign-equipment-type/ So if you also want to see this or see if anyone has picked up one working on a mod visit there.

My request sounds simple to me but may not be due to lack of modding reasource and tools. I will break down my request so its as easy to understand what I am requesting. This idea will probably be shared by much of the community so who ever can do this will prob get lots of love :D. Request: In Fallout 4 you can only equip armour pieces with certain outfits (Vault suit, BoS suit, raiders rags, etc) with many outfits unequiping armour pieces. My request is to make most outfits only take the "underwear/clothing" slot so you can still equip armour pieces ontop of it. Example: Take "Red trench coat" outfit as an example, its a smaller outfit with not much armour pieces to it, and I would like to be able to wear it and also have the arm, chest, and leg armour still be able to equip as well. The meshes for this and many outfits do no clip too much because they are small and would show the pieces and would add alot more custimization options for your characters. Closing: I have modding history with skyrim and previous Bethesda games and changing locatino and equip tags were always pretty simple, hopefully the same is for this game. If anyone has any suggestions or comment for this mod, or you just want to post saying you would also like to see this mod do so. If this can be done effectively without ruining NPCs, companions, etc equipment then I forsee this mod being used be many, and as people add modded armour pieces to the game this mod would def rise to the top list.
