When playing new vegas I can't help but feel bad when seeing all the homeless/parentless kids in the wastes, like the forecaster, the kid you can shoot a rat for, the kids in the legion after you wipe out the entire camp, etc, and I like the idea of my characters being a father. I was wondering if there were any mods that would allow you to have a dialogue option saying you'll take care of them, allowing you to send them to one of your homes/the lucky 38. I'm aware there are child companion mods, but all of them seem to require children of the wastes, which doesn't even seem to exist anymore, So I can't even download them for travel buddies. Anyone know/heard of any good mods or quest mods where you can do this?

I actually really like this idea. If you wanted a lore friendly version, this could be a power armor thing. Like it would be a weapon you can only equip in power armor. But otherwise, I feel like it could be a mod for some headgear, and you can only equip the item with the headgear. The only problem with this is that I feel like it would be a pain in the ass to code.
