  1. There's always a random fool who uploads their project as ProjectName/ActualModFolder/stuff' And than figuring what's an update/patch can be even harder at times with people's horrible folder naming. Whereas with /data you can more easily expect it to cleanly work.
  2. On the more technical side of things - I wonder if any weapon code is left over from fallout3.
  3. Unfortunately, one of the fallout3 mods did have nude child skin, one that obviously someone spent a lot of time on (nothing was omitted). Wasn't fun coming across that hidden "easter egg". Yup, clothing is invisible. It also bugs out a bit on animation. Weight limit also is different - when I was over encumbered I couldn't move in third person.
  4. bump. This could take someone 2 minutes and save me hours.
  5. Shortly put Geck isn't applying the 1.5 update correctly, so I can not run it (vanilla install also does not work). So instead of spending hours to finally get it to work for something simple, I thought I'd ask here. I want a simple mod file that contains all of Body Part Data from FalloutNV.esm No changes made please. Upload it to the forum. Planning on using FNVEdit to edit the values. Alternately, if anyone knows how to edit values from FalloutNV.esm from FNVEdit I'd appreciate it over an upload.
  6. I'm trying to replace the feralghoul's sounds with custom ones, but they aren't working ingame. I created the soundfile in Audicity. Export preferences is "WAV (microsoft) 32bit float 32000Hz, mono Sounds saved in (with correct naming) Data\sound\fx\npc\feralghoul For example, one of the files I made is common\fallout 3\Data\sound\fx\npc\feralghoul\foot\run\left\npc_feralghoul_foot_run_01.wav (same for right and walking) Yet ingame the regular sounds play. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to do something besides simply putting the files in the folder? File attached should be correct one used in example.
  7. -Have the weather a mix of gentle and fierce. Gentle weather being light rains and winds, and being bright out. Whereas fierce weather is very dark, heavy rains and strong winds. Hailstorm - possibly have it deal 0damage - causing the wildlife to run away? Windstorm - this would cause large gusts of wind, carrying radioactive dust with it. Snow - We have crashed aliens and super mutants - why not add in a light blurry? This weather would last a long time, but be gentle. As suggested, sandstorm. This kicks up a lot of dust into the air, limiting vision. Tornado/Dust Devil - This one is probably the hardest to code. Basically its' a well, decent sized tornado. Getting close to this can kill you. Storms should start out light, and get heavier as they progress. When you're inside (or near an entrance) maybe have the weather sounds, but lowered?
