  1. ...Chuck Norris. Chuck jumped down from the skies and, even though he was the size of a normal man, landed with an almighty bang that shook the Earth. Everybody looked on in disbelief as Chuck opened his mouth to say...
  2. Well I survived the volcanoes of Equador and stood with one foot each side of the equator - such a tourist!

Actually I didn´t see any volcanoes except lower slopes becuase of the clouds.

Now in chilly Chile about to head for the Atacama desert.  The driest place on earth.  God!  I hope that isn't referring to alcohol!

I have 30 mins free internet access per day until Monday.  See you around.

    Off now,

    Ciao

lol, what's the nightlife like? :cool2:

    Oh yeah, I'm back.

  3. There, you run into the same problem - schools would simply be unable to follow every single kid around, literally looking over their shoulder, even if you disregard the fact this would be a blatent invasion of the kids' privacy.

I completely agree, I had my mobile (cell phone) taken off me after my bag was searched. The phone wasn't on or visible. My bag was checked after a knife scare... :/

  4. I use Ventrilo. I mostly use it during clan matches in Counter Strike, it's great.

This is a real scenario that happened. We (clan AoD) were playing CSS on de_dust2. We are heading round to a bombsite, and the enemy come at us from behind. The enemy are following us, not being able to get a good shot at us. I turn around and see about 10 Terrorists all coming at us. I manage to take out atleast 3, and get killed. As I'm getting slaughtered, I yell out on my mic "BEHIIIIIND US!!!!". That was a great match, we won.

If I hadn't warned the guys, we would've been caught from behind and all shot with our backs turned.

  5. ...A SOCK! "This will be a nice addition to the pile," he said as he placed the gigantic size 14-19 nylon monster of a sock on top of the sock pile.

"wow, best sock in the whole bunch," he said.

"OH NOES!!!1eleven!" said Bill Gates, "The flying computzor has locked up, I can't access the control panel...z0r".

"You stupid newbie!!!11eleven!" cried Gabbe. He then walked away, leaving Bill all alone with nothing to talk to but a...

  6. I think the PC is alot better for games like medal of honor and C&C and are also good for modding your games to get more out of them, but the consoles are better for every other type of game, like NFSU or MGS ect.

I think NFSU was grade F processed pig excrement. The next NFS game is going back to the classics, with cop chases, luxury sports cars (NFSU had Golf GTI's, the next NFS will have Ferraris, like the older ones), be the cop mode, etc.

I loved NFS: Hot Pursuit 2, and think it's great they're going back to the great games they used to make.

  7. ...his hero Bill Gates rides in to the rescue on his trusty flying Dell computer, running on the top secret Windows 2006Pro Operating system.

"Hop on", said Bill. "Are you sure?", replied Gabbe.

"Don't worry, it's running on a brand new OS that can never ever crash"

    "Oh, OK."

Gabbe hopped on top of the flying computer, and him and Bill flew off into the distance. But suddenly, the uncrashable new OS... CRASHED!. "Oh noes!111eleven!", said Gabbe...

  8. I thought tha graphics were bad and the story was "mediocre". It didn't appeal to me much, however the gameplay I got out of it was alright.

I'm only saying it was alright, that's all.

  9. "...I could get a miniature comb for them. Then I could take it around with me and I wouldn't have to spend hours gelling my whiskers every morning"

He then hopped off into the distance, screaming "OH..."

  10. Before the story was told, for some reason, Dark0ne decided to make Stanhead a moderator. Being the status-abusing person that he is, he deletes this thread and bans everybody who has posted in it. :P

The bartender then bagan the story, saying:

"Wizard wonka, who liked to be called 'Big Smelly Joe', once owned a giant chocolate factory. A bunch of kids won a tour of this factory, and it soon became apparent that organising the tour was a very bad idea. One by one, the kids started disappearing from the tour. First that German kid went; he fell into the chocolate and was sucked up a big pipe, into oblivion; I can't remember who went next, but I think it was that girl who had the experimental sweet. She filled up with juice and had to be taken away for squeezing. Before I continue the story, I have to tell you this... I found something on eBay, it's a..."

    (How's that for a twist!?)

  11. Being 15, you'll understand why I disagree with that. But I guess when you have kids, you'll have to make an informed decision on whether they can play these games, based on how phsycologically mature they are.

Some kids are more mature than others. You could have a 13 year old who acts maturely, as you would expect a responsible 16 year old to act. If this was the case, I'd probably let him play 15 rated games, maybe 18 rated ones, depending on what game it is. Contrasting this, a 16 year old who acts like a 12 year old shouldn't be allowed to play 18 rated games.

    Well that's just my opinion.

  12. Oh now, not all graphics are better on the comp than on a console. The comp's advantages are, MMORPG's IMO. MMORPG's and easier online play than consoles. Sure you can play online with your PS2, but you gotta get an internet connection, hook it up to your computer, then get this other thing for your PS2 and hook that up to the first red thing from the right and the other yellow thing behind the blue thing and whatever. The problem with computers.. well, my computer, is that it's to shitty to run most new games. Ok, my computer can barely handle EQ2, so sue me. The XBox however, doesn't need any new graphic cards or more RAM, then again you have to buy a new console every third year or so.

Not all the time, but when developers can be bothered, PC's can handle much better graphics than the consoles. I agree with you partly, in that Need for Speed: Underground 2's graphics were terrible. I'll bet EA has a sign in ever one of their offices saying "That'll do. Hurry up so we can make the public wait for the release while we do absolutely nothing."
