  1. Ok, I seem to have these hostility problems quite often  Managed to resolve the previous ones, but then this came along... I quite recently started a new game and haven't turned to werewolf, vampire or completed nearly any Daedric quests or done anything suspicious with this character, I'm playing an illusion/conjuration focused mage. Suddenly all Vigilants of Stendarr have become hostile and they attack me every time I come across them on the road. I usually have a summoned Flame Atronach with me, but I think this should not cause the attacks...? I've played characters who've completed all the Daedric quests, been werewolves and everything and the Vigilants have ignored all that, so apparently this is a glitch of some sort. I have to admit this bug(?) is thematically quite adequate for this particular character, but is there some way to resolve it anyway? :P
  2. I've dealt with similar problems also, and noticed that sometimes it takes a couple of times to sheathe your weapon before guards accept your surrender and you can either pay your bounty off or go to jail or whatever. So try to draw and sheathe your weapon a couple of times repeatedly, it helps sometimes.
  3. Still no solution for this one and it seems to me that other saves are glitched like this too. I tried all my characters and each and every one of them got some random attacks in cities as well as in the wilderness. Messed up the whole game, oh joy!
  4. Well how cool is this, it seems that they've got their very own rates of exchange. US citizens pay 20$ whereas we in Europe pay 20€ which is around 25$, woohoo! Gently caress you Steam again, I'm not going for this anymore
  5. kevkiev already explained you why this happens. The Cleared-status will show up whenever you've slain the main boss in the location. It doesn't matter how many "minor" enemies you have left behind as long as they're not bosses or important ones for your current quest. I think it's always been this way, since I used to wonder the same thing when I started playing in the first place.
  6. Thanks (vai pitäisikö ihan vaan kiittää :) ), this solved the Dragonreach issue but Uthgerd and some other random characters still attack me once in a while. Not every time I visit Bannered Mare for instance, but almost every other time. Getting a small bounty and paying it off usually seems to calm things down when getting attacked in a city, but sometimes after paying the guards attack me again. On the other hand, this solution does not work when some totally random characters attack me in the wild, especially if they're "important" and therefore not killable. I'm really getting frustrated, if that's not obvious yet.
  7. Update: I haven't had anyone attacking me for several in-game days and actually forgot about the glitch, until I went to Dragonsreach. Everyone, including guards and Jarl attacked me instantly when I stepped in and I haven't been able to resolve this glitch yet. Any suggestions?
  8. Okay, so I've been through the infamous "Whiterun guards attack"-glitch, but this is something new. I get totally random attacks from totally random characters all over Skyrim, the only characters that seem NOT to attack in the first place are the guards. For instance, the travelling bard stabbed me in the back when I passed him on the road. Then I went to Whiterun, only to walk in an Imperial ambush; three Imperial soldiers were waiting and ready to attack me at the gate when I walked in. I escaped them, reloaded the game from the previous save and fast-traveled to Whiterun, same problem. Then I escaped the Imperials, fast-traveled to Dragonsreach and walked to the main city gate from there, no Imperials and no one attacked me for a good while. Problem solved? Nope, next I went to Bannered Mare to get some sleep and Uthgerd the Unbroken attacked me. I used Calm spell on her and after that I was able to talk to her normally, but when the spell wore off she attacked again. I Calmed her again and went upstairs to sleep a couple of hours, after that everything was normal again and I was able to move on from the inn. Also some Thalmor Justiciars have randomly attacked me on the road. Okay, I MIGHT have slaughtered quite a bunch of them for fun while travelling the world, but that shouldn't explain the random attacks. After all, I've played around 250hrs and nothing like this has happened before. I guess it all started when I accidentally killed the riding nobleman outside of Whiterun, but after that I loaded the previous save before the accident and still the problem persists. I also had a curious sneaking glitch after that, I wasn't able to walk or run, only sneak and sprinting caused just the "silent roll" even though I hadn't got the perk. That was solved by sitting down, but the attacks seem to continue. Any ideas how to fix this?
