  1. Thank You all for your replies, I believe I have killed everyone I need to and I know I have all three companions. When I try to move to the Inner Sanctum I get nada, there is no symbol in the center of the map unlike all the other areas. I am going to go over the Wiki guide with a fine tooth comb and retrace my steps to see what I missed. It might take a while, I don't get the time to play as often as I like. But I will report back.   2. I seem to be stuck in the Fade and cannot get out. In Circle Towers 4th floor, I was sent to the Fade. I have completed everything and killed everybody I can find. Darkspawn Invasion, Templar's Nightmare, Mages Asunder, Burning Tower, and all 3 Nightmare Islands have been visited (saved all 3 companions) and as far as I can tell, cleaned out. I obtained all 4 alternate forms and I methodically searched every mouse hole and Spirit Door. I cannot get to the Inner Sanctum, the game simply will not let me travel there. Don't know what else to do. What could I be missing? Thanks
  3. AARRGGHH! This started off with another thread mislabled "Brotherhood of Steel will not start", should have read "Broken Steel will not start". Turns out this is a known problem. Installed CREBSOR mod, and used the console to convince the game that I had completed "Take it Back" and to start "Death from Above" as advised. Elder Lyons interacted correctly and sent me to find Rothschild for a briefing. Rothschild interacts as expected until it is time for him to give me marching orders. He says something to the effect of "Step over here to the map" and then just stands there in the lab. He never steps over to the map himself and if I talk to him, all he does is repeat "Step over to the map". No dialoge choices. I tried this several times, waited by the map for him, tried talking to him at different times of the day, all to no effect. Am I going to have to console my way past this too? How do I find that code? When does this shortcutting end? I am having to beat this game with a stick to get it to work. Thanks for the help so far. :confused:
  4. A note to those with a similar problem. CREBSOR worked for me, but "Death from Above" quest did not start, nor did "Take it Back" show as completed even though I awakened in the Citidel. I had to open the console and enter "completequest 00014E91" (no quotes) and then I had to chase down Elder Lyons. Now everything appears to be back to normal.

  7. I just got concluded the Main Quest: Take it Back, but Broken Steel quest did not start. I chose to be a hero in the end and switched on the purifier, everything went white and I expected to awaken to the face of Elder Lyons. Instead, I awakened in the purifier room with Sarah Lyons. Outside, Liberty Prime stomps around and shoots at the occasional spawned monster or Enclave. I decided to walk back to the Citidel and see if Elder Lyons would pickup the story line "Death from Above". Retracing the path that Liberty Prime took proved to be time consuming because Enclave soldiers continued to spawn in great numbers all along the route. Elder Lyons did not pick up the story line as I had hoped and now I am wondering if there is some requirement for starting Broken Steel that has not been met. I am running FOOK, MMM, a number of small mods that add houses, weapons, that sort of thing. I have all 5 DLC's loaded and activated through FOMM. All DLC's except Zeta are off expansion discs (not GOTY Edition). I have previously run this character through Anchorage, Point Lookout, and Zeta. No problems. The latest patches, official and unofficial are installed. Any ideas? I just edited this to correct "Brotherhood of Steel" when I meant "Broken Steel". I need to get more sleep before posting :whistling:

  9. Poked around and could not find this type of crash so here it goes. Running through the "Waters of Life". Got a little ahead of myself and went down to the intake pipe control valve a little early. Could not activate the valve control and figured out I had to back track to "escort the scientists inside Project Purity". Carefully completed Objectives up to "Drain the Intake Valves" but I am suffering a CTD everytime I attempt to enter the pipe section that has the control valve. List of mods is below. Any Ideas?   10. I loaded FNNCQ and started slaving away! So far the mod works as advertised :thanks: I now try to make it a point to reduce an enemy group to 5 and then enslave the rest. It has worked on Raiders and Talon Mercs. Loads of fun. I recommend this mod!

  12. I have recently started to send a regular stream of slaves to Paradise Falls and I am wondering if my experience tracks with most other peoples. I am having trouble in a few areas. First is that I can't seem to carry more than one Slave Collar at a time. I haven't found any for sale and I tried to use console command "player.additem", no success. After entering the code, got a message "X Slave collars added", but they didn't show up in my inventory. Maybe the game won't let that grumpy guy in Paradise falls from accepting/paying for more than one slave at a time. Second, I would be interested in any ideas to increase the survival rate of the slaves I do send back. So far it appears that distance from Paradise Falls is the determining factor. No slaves, so far, have made it if they have to transit underground to get there (Zones 10 and above). This suggests the slaves cannot "Fast Travel". On one occasion, I tried following the slave only to see her run straight through a pond (not around) and seemed to have only a limited ability to defend herself against the herd of Mirelurks that attacked her. I have tried letting the slaves keep their weapons and armour with no apparent effect on survival. I am running FOOK, MMM, Slaves Stay Around, and a bunch of small ones. Thanks
  13. Thanks for the feed back. Glad I'm not alone. I think this glitch only affects game play if you are trying to fleeece a recent kill and it "flys off". I have not had any live creatures drop in or been hit on the head with a car (yet).
  14. Looked around for this in the forums and didn't find anything. But here it goes. While in the Wasteland- 1) I noticed in the distance it looked like several cars flew up from the surface and dissapeared into the sky. Was not really sure of what I saw, did not think much of it, kept playing. 2) Several playing hours (realtime) later I saw what I thought were Giant ants falling from the sky just over the next ridge. When I cleared the next ridge, sure enough, theres 6 or so dead Giant ants. 3) Approached Meristi station from the North and saw 4-5 Talon Mercs walking around. Using my sniper rifle, I dropped them all. A few seconds after the last one dropped, I watched in amazment as all of the Mercs flew off of the ground and dissappeared into the sky as if plucked by the hand of God. The first two I thought the game might have been altering the gamescape due to events that were happening beyond my perception. Like when you stumble upon a few dead creatures and sure enough there is a Deathclaw running around that had recently dispatched the lesser creatures. The third one, I don't know. I am running FOOK, MMM, and a player house mod in Megaton. It does not really affect play all that much unless I was depending on looting the Mercs. Any Ideas?
  15. I'm playing the Dark Brotherhood- Lonely Wanderer quest and I am trying to track down Faelian. While waiting for him in Lorkmirs house, I get the green arrow indication that Faelian is in the room. But he cannot be seen or interacted with. This happens where ever I run into him. I did try using the console commands to make him appear, no luck. Might not have done that correctly though, don't use the console much. Would appreciate some advice.
