  1. Hi!

    The problem is the following:

I updated f4se, mod manager and crafting highlight fix recently, and went back to my game.

    The following problem occured:

Everything works fine, but when i enter the crafting interface, such as at a chem station or similar, the game immediately crashes. Is there a way to fix this?
Tried reverting to the older version (which is disabled even when installed because there is a newer f4se installed) and it didnt work.
    Is my game permanently screwed?

Installing the new version went as this:

    -update f4se
    -download new cratfing highlight fix
    -remove old crafting highlight fix
    -install new one
    -play

    Did i make a mistake?

  2. Hi.

The situation follows: I uninstalled fallout 4 2 months ago, with the data folder and everything. However, in the NMM folder, the downloaded .zip files remain (i just found this out. 65 gb of mods for skyrim and fallout 4, i wondered why i don't have any free space.. lol. ) NMM shows all the mods and plugins as installed, marked with a green tick mark. Of course, the data folder is devoid of the "installed" mods.
I just installed bodyslide, and some other stuff like FOSE.

So, my question would be, how do i install all the mods and plugins from the NMM folder? It would be a waste of time to re-download all of it, if everything is already there.

  3. Hi.
    The problem is the following:

Installed Skyrim last week on my new and stronger pc, and everything is fine. I downloaded 160 mods which i really needed, and again, everything is fine. Played like normal.

Until 2 days ago, when the game's performance suddenly dropped. Not clear why. I found out using Steam's built in fps counter that the fps is constantly at 16 during gameplay, and in the main menu.
During loading screens, it is 30+.

Never encountered anything like this before, and i can't find anything on google about it that helps...

Not sure what happened, like i said, the game was running very good, even on ultra settings and using an ENB.

I'd kindly ask for advice, as this is ruining my game.

  4. Just encountered this. Removing the config file from its main directory solved nothing. It does the same, starts up but immediately finishes itself. I'm trying out a new installment.

UPDATE: It did. f*#@ing. Nothing. Sorry for my vulgarity but nothing outrages me more than something that was working just as recently as yesterday, like 12 hours ago, now doing nothing for no apparent reason at all.

I'm extremely frustrated as nothing i try seem to fix it.

    Please advise. :(

  5. Hello there.

I'm looking for any way to alter the ending of the great quest "The Secret of Cabot House" where, if you side with Lorenzo because maybe you've found his argument more convincing, he kills his family.
(Except Edward whom you can convince trough a speech check.)

I'm looking for an alternative. I'm kind of between both sides, and would like an alternative where you can side with Lorenzo, have ancient knowledge passed on to you, and still do not destroy the whole Cabot family and its legacy.

From the lore, the terminal entries and conversations you get to know that Emogene kept visiting Lorenzo from time to time, and altough things were never the same as before, her relationship with Lorenzo was still probably the most solid out of the family.

So IN A NUTSHELL: Any way to alter the quest and its finale, to keep Emogene alive and basically the same if you finished the quest on the other side. I just want her to stay alive and stick around the house.

Please. Any helpful replies (or a full .esp, one can dream) would be very much appreciated.

  6. Hello.

This idea started off in my head when i was trying to build something big and beautiful, and of course, failed miserably.

The idea is to, if its possible, turn the Sentinel Site buildings, and the main building of Warwick Farmstead into a buildable, placeable, and perhaps even with added snapping points, a fully working placeable settlement building.

I searched, but it doesnt seem it has been done.

  7. Hello there.

The following post contains spoilers for those who as of yet, did not complete Nuka World.

    The issue is the following:

I only completed the Minutemen questline until Preston sent me to help a settlement (Oberland Station), before turning in i started the Nuka World DLC and completed its main storyline.

I had prepared for an instant fight, but upon returning to sanctuary, Preston didn't attack me, and when i aprroached him he was just disappointed and angry.

He is no longer aviable as a follower, i think, and also, the only conversation i can initiate with him is about raiding.

He insists that i should redeem myself by killing the Raiders i helped set up bases, and thats that.

I can't progress any quests, etc, regarding the Minutemen. I'd love to have artillery and The Castle, as well as building better settlements but it doesnt seem like i 'll have the chance.

Can anyone help me with this? Any suggestions?

  8. Hello there, friend!

I'll cut this short. I need someone who is good at the character generator/face editor, to make a character based on some pictures i provide.

I have a friend whom i'd like to surprise, with a save based on her face.
I'm not really good at the face editor, so i'd kindly ask someone who could help me with this.

Being a surprise, i can't just ask her to take pictures perfectly suited for using as a basis, so anyone doing this must do it based on selfies, etc.

    Vanilla assets only.

    Please?

  9. How would it fit into the lore?

Institute, man. They haave crazy tech, crazy ideas..... So building compact and efficient weapons would be a logical choice.

Think about it. Institute energy weapons can get you so far, however if you run out of fusion cells, you have to make do with local weaponry.
So building weapons that are high tech, yet can be fully "compatible" with the wasteland economy and ammo types, is highly logical.

That's your lore background right there.

  10. I'm pretty sure there were mods for that already for NV and FO3... So my best guess is, contacting the authors about using their gauss pistol assets would be the first good step.

  11. Hi!

There is a mod called AEV (Link is here)

Basically, it is a weapon and armor pack.
The clothing parts both contain modded variations of metal armor, etc, along with a modular, good looking, altough quite revealing set of accessories to use.

I'm just here to ask, if someone would make a port of it for Fallout 4?
