trying to reset my shadows to prevent ctd's "in options" but the can't load skyrim message quickly appears and it shuts off instantly. man i hate this s#*!. gonna go try another method... i'll be Back

after taking a look at your screen caps............. they look exactly like when you use the [~} and tcl command to fly around... so your not-clipping anything and you see frames of houses instead of the whole texture files. strange that it's only happening with the lakeview...mod perhaps you should reload a lake-view mod.[?] they say not to load the lake-view extension mod until you build the lake- view house just some random thoughts to give you some idea's

thanks for the replies i solved it by installing alternate start i blew away the whole installation and started fresh so now it works fine.... which brings up yet another question (of course) can you run skyrim and special addition together wondering if you can specify where your Mods go via the manager -> as the directories are quite different. or should you just Run say special addition and no longer run the old skyrim... been trying to just copy and pasting esp files from skyrim data to the special addition data file. ====================================== post a link if there's a tutorial on that topic. plz especially covering the best location for all your MODS files for best performance

So I'm not Crashing... but i do get stuck during the opening video of the Game.... When it starts: my "view is straight ahead" as if i an riding up front and seeing the front wagon which is driver-less and it has no passengers (Prisoners) then......the first wagon crashes into Helgen front wall [No guard is present to open the Gate.] and then our wagons horse does a two wagon pile up repeatedly. that's as far as i could get with SSE (although it worked once before) maybe i modded it to death? _LOL_ Just need a starting point to begin my analysis ... or a tip or TWO thanks in Advance, Rav257

A trick i learned is to use the Ethereal Horse as a stand in.... [player.placeatme 10Bf90] having a purchased horse i ride past my "horseless follower" who's walking behind me and dismount, then using a handy bat file i named 1 i simply hit bat 1 in the console and my ethereal horse appears so when i hop on the follower jumps onto my horse Nice thing about the ethereal horse if your an ARCHER you can SHOOT arrows right thru it at your enemies such as wolves and other bad guys and they can not harm it.

have you reduced your saved games to the last 2. worth a try since you've tried everything else it has worked for me in the past or try starting skyrim from several saved games back

always use google to find a type of mod as it searches way better (doesn't require perfect title ect.) then go to that location

EVERYWHERE in Skyrim there are candles but no store sells them. ALL the apparatus for MAKING Beer or ale can also be used to make melted wax. Then it's all about pouring it into molds.
