  1. I'm currently using Chrome. Tried Internet Explorer and that seems to be fine, no pop-ups yet. So try using IE to browse Nexus until this is all sorted out. Dark0ne is correct, I have started to notice it on other sites, though it's a lot more rare than on Nexus. These forums appear to be fine. Edit: Oh, and I'm from the UK if that's any help.
  2. Doesn't work that way for me. I'd click the 'X', it'll pop up again a split second later, I'd click the 'X' again and it'd go to the site anyway and autodownload the virus.
  3. Hope this gets fixed soon because now I can't browse Skyrim nexus at all because it keeps redirecting me even if I close down the pop-up. Used to just pop up occasionally but now it happens every single time I go onto a Nexus page and I can't even ignore it. Doing a full computer scan just incase since, once forced onto the page, it keeps auto downloading the .exe
  4. Basically when you follow Hadvar or Ralof at the start and meet them in Riverwood, they'll become friends with you. When you become friends with someone, usually by completing some quests for them, they may allow you to take things. So those items will have the 'owned' property removed. It also lets you sleep in the beds in their homes where normally they'd be marked with "bed (owned)" instead of just "bed"
  5. Driver version is 6.0.1.7183 and the audio codec is ALC889. That's all I can find in the control panel and I don't know if it's useful.
  6. I'm not sure if it's because it's out of date. I'm running a program that checks for updates for all drivers on my PC and installs them.
  7. There's a couple there. Some Nvidia options and a realtek one.
  8. Not entirely sure. How do I go about finding this out? I mean, I think I have the information but I'm not sure.
  9. The game is still causing a 5 second freeze upon music change/start Removing the Oblivion.ini (the one you're allowed to remove, don't worry) and letting the game auto-detect my vidcard doesn't change a thing besides resetting the graphics options.
  10. I don't think it's mods in general. It could be a conflict between two mods, so here's what you do. Deactivate all mods except one. Start game up Does it crash? If no, then quit the game. Reactivate another mod. Repeat from step 2 Do this until the game crashes and the last mod you activated will be the one that conflicts. Then you just need to find a mod that changes/adds/removes the same thing and this will be the problem.
  11. I don't think any new codecs were installed. I have no idea what they are anyway. I always use Nvidia cards and I upgraded to a GeForce GTX 680 after my last one died. (Can't remember what the last one was) Driver version is 334.89
  12. I've checked the soundcard options. There aren't any effects active.
  13. No such luck, the freeze still happens on music change or when music starts.
  14. Hmm....I did change my graphics card before I started playing Oblivion again.... It's a long shot but that wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it? That's the only difference since I last played.
