  1. My #1 pet peeve with Fallout 4 is how the power armor works. Don't get me wrong, I do like the new style, but I miss the classic armor style where you didn't climb into it and weren't standing on stilts with extended robot hands. I would like something smaller and more similar to previous games that could still be modified at a workbench and behave like normal power armor. I had asked this when the game had recently come out and didn't get much for results so I decided to give it another shot now that the game has been out for a while. CROSS Pre-War Cybernetics (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8609/) has frames and armor that behave like normal modular armor pieces, but they're only available for the player and aren't integrated into the Brotherhood and the others that use PA. If anyone can point me in the direction of a mod like this or someone who has an interest, some mod skills, and free time could make it happen, I'd be very grateful.
  2. But really my whole idea is that I want it to be for all of the NPCs, not just me. The biggest thing that bothers me is the arm and leg extensions on the armor. I just wanted it to be less of a mech-suit and more of an armor. Thanks everyone, for the help, but it might be a while before something like this comes out.
  3. It's very possible to do. It's just that the modding that it would require to integrate it into the Brotherhood and Atom Cats and such is beyond me.
  4. Is there a mod that stops NPCs from burning up or melting from energy weapons? I feel like it's probably just a line of code you have to change but I really don't know anything about that stuff.
  5. I'm honestly not a big fan of the new power armor. I think its just unnecessarily big and the arm/leg extensions don't make sense, it would be too clunky to use and too hard to keep working in a apocalyptic environment. Luckily, there is a mod author who already made armor frames that fit on the characters instead of having to be climbed into. CROSS Cybernetics: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8609/? What I really want is for someone to make a mod that replaces the big frames in the game with the ones from the mod. (ie: Brotherhood of Steel would wear them instead of the full suits) The player could equip the frame and then equip each armor piece the same way as leather or combat armor, or could still be climbed into but a lot smaller. My only concern is if it would be possible to still use the crafting stations.
  6. I know that Inigo's color is unique and part of his character, but I really dislike it and would prefer if it were more natural. I tried to recolor him with the creation kit but I am not the best with it. If someone out there with a little free time would help me out with this that would be great! Thanks!   7. See the problem with that one is that it's an armor. Any way it can be converted to an amulet? I just want the heart alteration itself, not the whole chestless thing. I shoudl add that i usually play an Argonian, so any mod would have to be beast-race compatible. Sorry, that's the only thing I've found.

  9. Anyone know of a mod that gets rid of the parts of the Dwarven Gauntlets that stick off the sides? They look cool when you wear a full set but if you mix any armors then it looks awful. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. I feel like this could be used for more things too. Anyone know of a mod or some command to permanently turn off havok physics?
  11. I was wondering if there was a mod that worked something like this: 1. Kill Dragon 2. Dragon Skeleton lands in a glorious fashion 3. Use mod to make dragon skeleton a static object in the cell -Dragon no longer has physics and stays forever 4. Skeleton stays and makes a wonderful decoration It would be cool to have this because I love the look of the skeletons but they have pretty bad physics and have a bug where they follow you around for some reason, so I end up disabling them.

  13. I am just starting out with computer graphics, and i have almost no idea how to use the creation kit other than basic stuff. I had an idea one day for a weapon that would be good in a game like Skyrim. I don't want to take up too much of your time so I will give you a short description. The weapon is a short hammer, it has a pole shorter than a war hammer/battle ax, about 2.5-3' long. The head of the weapon is a two equal sided blunt hammer, not to big, but enough to do damage. On top there is a 3-5 inch blade for stabbing. The weapon could be wielded in either one or two hands. Damage would be between mace and war hammer, and weight too.   14. I think maybe the culprit is Skyre I'm trying to get those two to work now. Thank you and sorry for taking your time. Just a question though, do you have any idea how to activate mods using BOSS? Someone on my other post told me to activate FrostFall with BOSS and I really have no clue what he is talking about. If you want to you can go to "Frostfall wont start" page by me if you need more info.
  15. It might not be Frostfall, but one mod is causing troubles by overriding "medium meal" etc with "restores 7 health, Carnivores gain extra bonuses" I think the RND effects miht still be there but I cant tell

  18. I looked on the troubleshooting page of the Frostfall website. This is what it said: "Most likely another mod is interfering and not allowing FF to run" I checked some of the mods that I have (I have a lot) and didnt have any luck seeing which one is causing it.Anyone have any ideas of mods that FF is not compatible with?
  19. Hey guys and gals, I've played with these two mods together before, and they are a double force for realism and survival. But I took a break from Skyrim and came back to a mess after adding a few mods. (Frostfall got messed up and i had to reinstall it). Anyone know if there is a patch for these two so that i can use vanilla foods that are customized by Frostfall for RND? Food Items added by RND work fine but any vanilla foods cause troubles because Frostfall adds its own effects.
