No luck with the clientregistry deletion. My internet is really slow so it would take a day or 2 to re-dl the whole game. Any other options?

Trying the clientregistry solution now. I'd like to avoid redl'ing/copying entire skyrim folder if at all possible since it is 45 gb at this point. The game does not launch from steam though, it just loads the launcher and then fails when i try to actually start the game.

No one knows how to fix this? I mean worst case couldn't someone just send me their exe file?

I went to play Skyrim today after having taken a few weeks off playing it, and discovered that for no apparent reason my TESV.exe file is missing. I have tried verifying the game cache in Steam, but had no success in getting it to redownload the exe file. I had Steam set up not to update Skyrim at all, so I have no idea why this happened. I have spent many hours getting Skyrim set up exactly the way I want it, ENB, mods, etc. I currently have roughly 250 mods installed, so I very much do not want to have to totally reinstall. Do I have any options at all? How can I get the exe file back without destroying my setup?
