  1. I have several drives on my computer. I had Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Fallout New Vegas managed by Vortex, all from Steam. I had a number of mods on all three games. The game installations and Vortex downloads folder were all on J drive. Then I had a problem with my C drive, which required me to wipe Windows and reinstall. I was able to re-install the games (Steam is pretty good that way - tell it to install to J and it will see that it's already installed and just do the setup). However now I have these games "managed by another instance of Vortex". Is there any way to e.g. export the mod list, so I can re-install things and get the games back to the way they were? There's a FAQ question about moving it to another computer - would this be related?
  2. I have Fallout 3 from Steam (Windows 10), which I transferred over from Nexus Mod Manager to Vortex. It didn't run. I tried to eliminate Vortex as a possible source by re-installing FO3 clean. Still didn't run, so the basic game won't work. After reading some of the Steam forum on FO3, I bought the GOG version, since a lot of people report it as being better patched (and it was on sale). I would like to install it and uninstall the Steam version, then use Vortex on it. However I would like to install it on a different drive - Steam is on C:, I would like to use F: for the GOG version as that is where my other GOG games are. As I understand it, the mod folder and the game have to be on the same drive (otherwise it can't create the hard links). Is there a method for moving a managed game to another drive?
  3. Yes, the Game Section is listed as "Skyrim". The link still does not include "/skyrim/". A bit more testing. I imported most of my Skyrim mods from NMM. I tried downloading a new version of a mod I have (Unlimited Training - 45424) as it indicated that an update was available (so Vortex is finding the links somehow). I downloaded it; Vortex asked whether to make this a variant or replace. I said replace. The new version has the correct link when i choose "Go to Nexus Mods" as above. I tried this with the Paarthurnax Dilemma as well (mod 18465) and the same thing occurred. It seems that mods that are imported from NMM have this problem, but not mods downloaded and installed via Vortex alone.
  4. Using Vortex 0.16.10 (started only a couple of days ago). Imported mods from NMM. If you right-click on a mod e.g. "Cloaks of Skyrim" and select "Open in Nexus Mods" it does not find the mod properly. The URL it uses is https://www.nexusmods.com//mods/12092, when it should be https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12092, i.e. the game id is missing from the link. I have enabled "handle Mod Manager Download buttons on NexusMods.com" in the Settings. I have tried the "Fix Nexus Mods links in Chrome" button after closing Chrome - including clearing the Chrome setting "Continue running background apps after Chrome is closed"
