I'm...not really sure what you're disagreeing with. I'm not presenting any opinion, I'm asking what the best path forward is for someone who wants their mods to work, because there seems to be two different routes, both of which have significant drawbacks. I was unaware of the existence of USLEEP. That may solve my problem potentially, but it sounds like the only two paths forward are either paying $40 for Skyrim Special Edition or spending $45 buying three DLC that I intensely dislike so that I can download USLEEP. I don't see why someone felt the need to remove the original Unofficial Skyrim Patch, given that it was patching a version of the game that wasn't being updated, and therefore didn't need any real support, but it's already done so I guess it doesn't matter.

Perhaps someone can help me understand the current state of Skyrim modding. Several mods which I consider essential (such as Unofficial Skyrim Patch, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19) have been removed from the non-special edition version of the game. At the same time, other mods which I have used for the last 4-5 years have not been ported over to the special edition of the game. It seems like I have two options if I ever want to start playing on a new machine: 1. Play the old version of the game, missing essential mods 2. Buy the game yet again, have access to some essential mods but not others. Is this accurate? Or is there something I'm missing here?

Hi all, I'm looking for a few things: 1. A mod with a vendor that sells skill books at extremely high prices. I want something fun and meaningful to spend the ridiculous number of caps I find on 2. A mod that will let me quicksave using a controller 3. A mod that adds randomized loot with more equipment slots. It's annoying to play a huge game with only one armor slot

[Edit] Originally, I was asking for a mod to fix an "issue" I was having with the game which resulted from another mod I was using. Oops. Ignore this, I'm not sure how to delete it :)
