  1. Still want. Will always want. I'm a cheap bastard but I don't want the module to be cheap or for it to come without cost.
  2. Hey guys! So, I've been hulking around the wasteland, probably far too much, and have pondered over my past experiences in fallout and have noticed a mild annoyance on my part. My power armor takes damage. A lot of damage. I could build a small fleet of aircraft with the material I have put into my X-01 to keep it operational, and that's just me exploring and taking everything that isn't nailed down. I tend to avoid huge encounters and I almost always fight from cover, even in my armor. However, as the frugal and Charisma oriented wastelander that I am, I find it difficult to maintain my power armor repairs, even with all of my settlements -mostly- operational. Aluminum is just so gods be damned uncommon. The thought ran across my mind, gosh, I wish my power armor had miniature mister handys just hovering over it constantly, repairing every little bit of it all the time, forever. I would give up my +2 strength torso core and a significant cut to DR or health for a self repair core function. Is this possible? Do I need Codsworth to learn a new skill? Is my dream of a tiny robot army that can clean and repair everything in their wake a potential reality?!!? Am I the future cause of a grey goo XK class end-of-the-world scenario?!?!!! TLDR: Power Armor self repair core for chest that restores PA pieces hp slowly over time at cost of DR and HP across the board for suit. Possible?
  3. I did a dry run with vanilla GOTY Fo3, and it ran perfectly with no issues to a 2 hour point. I'm going to continue to play a bit vanilla before I change anything, try to find some instability by simply doing what I nromally do, but so far everything seems okay. I will report back to this topic if I run across issues while modding, and which mods cause errors.

I attempted to rearrange my compatibility esps so that they were below all their supporting mods, and I have to admit, the game itself is slightly more stable, but that doesn't really resolve the overall problem. I'm starting to believe that the mix of Windows 8 disliking the engine, and FOOK2 and MMM not working together properly could be the real cause of all this instability. I'm honestly ready to just pick up and move on to NV again and leave my nostalgia to Fallout 1 and 2. At least those don't crash every five minutes.
  5. Hey guys, been a while since I've been back here to ask for help but now I am at a point where I am ready to uninstall and just give up on ol' Fo3. I've gone through countless threads about modifying INI files, tweaks and various other changes to make it stable in Windows 8, but I am at a total loss of why I am still experiencing crashing, as any combination of the mods I am using cause random issues. I used Fo3 edit to generate Smoosh2 as my merged patch. I have not used Wyrebash. My machine is more than capable of running Fo3 on maximum with 0 FPS loss and almost isntant load times between areas. The only trouble spots are the dust clouds that rise from certain radioactive pools. Looking at them makes me loose a bit of FPS. I really need help hunting down the issues that are causing this instability. Most of the crashes occur during fights, but many of them also occur just when exploring.
  6. Started a new game, problem seems to have resolved itself. I don't know whats going on anymore.
  7. Its all weapons. Everythings damage value has been drastically cut. I'm starting to think its some sort of script.
  8. I have, nothing is changing their damage values. I am not familiar with any scripts being run on my game to reduce damage values. I'm at a loss.
  9. NMM throttles down when its nearly completion of a download, then it takes time to apply the mod in question. Often when its stuck at 0, its building the files and putting them into your data folder. Just be patient.

If anyone has any insight to this problem or can point me in the correct direction, I can probably fix it myself. Any advice would be helpful.
