  1. As i have started work on my own game, i will not be working on any of my projects. Sorry
  2. I have already thought of that idea and have been playing around in 3DS max. i got my insipration from a novel call "Dragon Master" by Chris Bunch. Here is an extract from the novel: " It was below him then, and Hal looked at its wide shoulder blades, at the carapace behind the dragons long neck and horned head, thought insanely, that could be a seat, and you could be flying yourself, if you could figure a way to make the dragon do your bidding." There are heaps of things in this book that would fit nicely in skyrim. Chris has gone into great detail about all things dragon. From the way the saddle is attached to the dragon to how the dragon is controlled.
  3. I agree. What about adding the need for resources for building to make it more a challenge to get a decent town up and running or would that blow the mod outta proportions?
  4. What about adding a faction component to the guild? Also something like this
  5. After several playthroughs and multiple types of characters, Skyrim seems to be funneling you through to a GOOD ending. But where is the evil in Skyrim? I know there is the dragon preists, the necros and such, and the most evil thing you can do is join the Dark Brotherhood and murder ppl for money. I just started a playthrough as an evil warlord. I wiped out Riverwood in a day (After all the quest stuff ofcourse) then i moved on to Whiterun killing every npc i came across. And what was the conculsion to my evil practices....... 3 choices, pay money, go to prison or death. I chose death. Then there is the armor and weapons. they all look so...... blah. Hell even skeletons run around with clean, templar style swords and bows. The Dark Brotherhood look like they belong at church. Seriously where is the evil looking armor and weapons. I want something like this set of armor with an enchantment that causes fear or something. What i am asking is for someone to create an evil based mod. Features like: - Fear spells and enchantments - Good/Evil disposition that npcs interact to - Evil looking weapons and armor - Evil followers These are just a few, but the list could go forever. I am happy to help set up evil sanctuarys, weapons and armor (The above spoiler is one of my designs), but i lack the knowladge to go beyond this. If anyone wants to expand on my idea, post and i will update my op with decent lore fitting features.
  6. I feel the same way. A process i use to increase gameplay difficulty, and i have been doing this since fallout 3, is to go check this guy out Gopher is very good at what he does and is very in depth when he reveiws a mod. He may have what you are looking for. Hell at last look he was at 46 videos just for skyrim alone. If he hasn't got what you are looking for, i may be able to add more creatures to lvl'd lists making it harder as you get higher in lvl. Let us know what you are looking for, in depth, and many will try and see what they can do.
  7. I believe he is talking about game trainers used for cheating. If you want to cheat, look up the console codes. Their easier, dont cost anything, their already included in the game and virus free
  8. What i write next i am thinking about Helgen and how to make it easy to make but rewarding to play the quest line. What if, by talking to "*****" you can select what building you want rebuilt, but the requirment must be met first. You pay X amount of gold to have said selection built. With each building that is built new npcs appear to occupy selection. I know it aint the best way to describe it, but i hope you get the idea EDIT: a good example of what i was thinkning is along the lines of what was done in Build Your Own Home.
  9. i think he is talking about a Tolkenesk type of dwarf. I have Dwemer Race by SuperJesusV, and though it is really well done, i perfer if the base character was Tolken-like. That is my personal opinion. I would like to see the above type of dwarf and if anyone has a problem with it fitting into lore, here is a starting base for making it fit into the lore of skyrim. " When the Dwemer existed in our plane they looked like dark elves, but had their own ideas of what it ment to be a sentient race race of Tamriel. When their bid for goddom came to the conclusion with the disappearence of the entire Dwemer race, everyone thought that they were gone forever. Several thousand years later, a lonely explorer stumbled upon an unrecorded dwemer ruin, he thought he was the luckyest person in Tamriel. But after some time within the ruin, he found that the ruin wasn't as empty as he thought. Not only was the Dwemer creations still roaming the halls in their eternal dutys but it seamed that these ruins was inhabited by a sentient race aswell. Though short in stature and and speaking a language unheard by Tamriel ears in thousands of years, the loney explorer came to the conclusion that these are the Dwemer of the old legends." It may not be 100% accurate but it is a start for anyone wanting to do this mod. Feel free to correct anything i have said or offer variations to the back story.
  10. Thanks for posting about this. I think you may have given me a base of operation for a mod i am working on. read my post here
  11. You want either RTS or Tundra Defence (Yes TD is by the same author as WD 4 NV). Both are on the nexus and can be DL'd. RTS hasn't seen much updating, but TD is updated constantly.
  12. I am working on a couple of mods concepts and i think your idea may fit into it very nicely. But from what i can see from the modding side, it may be a lot of work. not so much the modelling side of things, but more the extensive scripting that it will involve. Now, dont be afraid to correct me on anything i type, but you may be waiting for a while before something like this comes out. The mods i am working on is about creating a mercenary company that you can control, take contract jobs etc and i rekon that your idea of setting up a village of your own would be a great base of operations for a budding mercenary commander. If anyone wants to help me make this work, dont hesitate to add me through skype (Name in my profile), pm me or reply back here. I could really use any help and will welcome everyone.
  13. Look for a mod called "Like a Boss", it has 3 dragon mounts ( Normal Dragon, Skeletal Dragon and Ice Skeleton Dragon). I dont know if it is Xbox Controller compatible. Edit: Like a Boss - New Mounts Mod
  14. That i would love to see. I may look into it myself
